Guest Guest Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 I am using Chrome and it popped up when I went to get on the Harry Potter page.
pittwitch Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Yes, we know. It is a false report. Everything else under the sun has tested the site clean. We now have to be patient and wait until Google clears the false report. Thanks for helping out.
BronxWench Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 I'm not getting the red screen anymore. A tentative "Huzzah" is in order?
DemonGoddess Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 I'll huzzah after I see it in garbled's webmaster tools
DemonGoddess Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 they called an all clear too! NOW I can huzzah!!!!!
BronxWench Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 (edited) That was at least decent response time for a false report! HUZZAH! Edited June 17, 2013 by BronxWench
Sage of Discord Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 IDK if this would help, but perhaps this is part of the problem. I've been getting one or two of these since Sunday.
DemonGoddess Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Posted June 18, 2013 There shouldn't be any issues. We scanned clean yesterday, today, and etc.
Guest Concerned Reader Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Any idea why Webroot is labeling AFF as unsafe?
DemonGoddess Posted November 13, 2014 Author Report Posted November 13, 2014 It shouldn't be. We've completely replaced the advert module (that was last year after all this kept happening). The only other thing I can think of is trying to perhaps get a purchase from you? Google lists us as safe.
Guest Concerned Reader Posted November 18, 2014 Report Posted November 18, 2014 I actually just recently re-subscribed to Webroot. Apparently they have you guys listed as a moderate risk with a reputation of 50 if you enter your url here to check: http://www.brightcloud.com/tools/url-ip-lookup.php I've been looking to find any way to add some kind of exception for AFF but it seems my only choice is to either turn off all protection or just living with having to tell it to let me view AFF every time I go to it. Supposedly you guys can request to have your site looked over to get a better score which in theory would stop the popup for anyone using Webroot that enjoys AFF.
DemonGoddess Posted November 19, 2014 Author Report Posted November 19, 2014 For now, click past the warnings. I've submitted the site review request. Due to the nature of the content, they may very well not change the risk factor at all.
DemonGoddess Posted November 20, 2014 Author Report Posted November 20, 2014 They actually did change it, but not as much as I would like, and I do believe that has to do with the content. It's set at 81 now for that software, instead of the 40 it was at before.
