Guest HP Fan Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 Hello everyone! I've read this story a couple of years back (the story is at least two years old), but can't seem to find it again. I hope someone here knows it and can redirect me... Unfortunately I remember very little of the story... but I remember that it was really, really good. In this story, Hermione is in treatment in a mental institution. There, she is told that nothing that we know from the books, has happened and that she has been imagining everything. I'm not sure, but I think Harry was a mental patient there as well. I don't think I read the story here, but rather on harrypotterfanfiction com Quote
Guest HP Fan Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 I'm not sure if the story was Hermione or Harry-centric... Quote
RogueMudblood Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 I actually do vaguely recall, from several years ago, a story posted in the AU section here that was Draco/Hermione that had a similar plot. Whether it's still here, I don't know. I read it only once, and I don't find it on my old recs list, which could mean it was removed. I've been going through my list and taking off the ones authors deleted for various reasons. Sadly, none of the terms I've tried have turned it up in the search engine. The one I'm thinking of, though, was a one-shot. How many chapters do you recall? Quote
Guest HP Fan Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 Thank you for your reply. The story was multi chaptered and had at leadt 10 chapters. Yeah, I've searched on various websites too, but can't find it. I'm afraid the story really has been taken down by the author. What a shame, the story was really good! Quote
Guest Macy Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 I think I read that one too. The one I remember she was given some potion that dampened her magic so that she really believed it was all in her head. I can't remember if it was Draco or Severus that stumbled upon her. She had gotten a pass to be out of the hospital because she was doing better and one of them recognized her on the street. It was really good from what I remember. Quote
