Snape then enlists Hermione as a babysitter during the school year. Hermione loves Snape's child as her own and spends a lot of time with her. Eventually Snape and Hermione then become a couple. One night while babysitting she falls asleep in Snape's bed and has a horrible Dream of Snape entertaining another woman, throwing Hermione out of his rooms and being incredibly cruel to her in the process. Then Snape's daughter drinks a harmful potion while Hermione is babysitting. When asked Snape's daughter says Hermione made her. Hermione and Snape break up and he claims that she tried to kill his daughter because she was jealous that Snape would never love her as much as he loved his daughter. Hermione stops eating and starts self harming (I think). Harry becomes insanely worried and so goes to see Severus. Every time Hermione is mentioned in class, Snape says horrible things about her. In the end it turns out that Lucius Malfoy was manipulating their dreams and he threatened Snape's daughter by saying he would kill Hermione and Severus unless she drank the potion and blamed Hermione.
