A woman is given the choice of either marrying the man her father has chosen for her or being thrown into the Minotaur's labrynth. She chooses the Minotaur, prefering to die rather that marry her father's choice of husband.

She wanders around the labrynth for a while and comes across an opening in the cliff face that leads to a sheer drop to the rocks below. She chooses not to jump and continues exploring. She finds the Minotaur's living area and watches him for a while, then seeing he is not as scary as she was led to believe she approaches him and things progress rather pleasantly for both of them from there.

I would really like to read this story again so if you could help me find it I would be very appreciative. Any other stories of a similar nature would be appreciated as well.

Thanks,

Halica.

That does sound pretty awesome. I'd give it a read if someone has the linl Even if the living area mental image I have is of the Minotaur with a cup of coffee, a little light jazz on a record player and working on knitting a scarf for himself. I suspect the writer of the story took a different approach.
