Can't log in/Change password

I wanted to log in and leave a review, but my password wasn't working (probably because it was below 8 characters) so I sent a password reset to my email (yumimakai@yahoo.com), but after I press submit after typing in my new password, I get:

"password could not be reset due to system error"

So I tried it again, and even a third time, still no luck. My pen name should be Fizzyology and the only thing different about my current computer versus the one I used to have the last time I logged on here is that instead of windows it's running on Ubuntu, I'm hoping that's not the issue.

Detailed step by step instructions on what to do (if any) would be greatly appreciated, because I'm illerterate when it comes to how to remove/add/fix things online.

The issue seem to be that you have not yet validated for the new code, which is why you can't log in to the archives. These are two separate registrations, and all users need to revalidate. This is what you need to do:

FIRST: Use this link to help you clear your cache and cookies, You MUST clear the old cookies, or this will not work.

SECOND: If your password is less than 8 characters, you will need to reset it. Use this link to reset your password. You MUST use the email account that you used to create your archive account.

THIRD: Use this link to log in with the new code. Please follow the steps carefully. You will be sent a validation email, and you will need to click on the link in that email as part of this process. If it doesn't appear in your Inbox, check your Junk or Spam folders.
