Chapter Notifications

I'm only recently registered wtih Adult FanFiction, and I was wondering how or if there was an option to receive notifications when a story has been updated?

I thought that I would receive an email when I added the story to the 'Reading' section, but I never got a notification when it was updated this week.

Sorry if this topic has already been posted, but I couldn't find it when I was looking.

Hi, and welcome to AFF!

At this point in time, we don't have a notification system in place. Many of our authors offer their readers updates via email, Twitter or blogsites/social networking sites such as LiveJournal or Facebook. You can check the author's profile or individual stories to see if this is available.

We're rolling out new code for the archive in stages, and right now, I can't tell you if that's a feature we will have in the new code. I can tell you that if it is, we'll let you know as soon as we know, in our News!

I believe that's what the current reading list in your profile is for. I'll check with the coder, but I don't think email notifications for chapter updates is upcoming
