Alien Abduction of brothers (M/M)

It's been a few months (almost a year probably) since I've seen this story and I forgot the title and the names of the characters. The story starts off with two brothers going to the movies, I think, when earth suddenly gets invaded by an army of aliens. The brothers are taken on a starship with a bunch of other people. They're herded into a room where the people are sorted into certain categories. They are sorted by checking their blood. The brothers are scared that they're going to be separated. If the tube of taken blood is glowing blue or green or something, it means that they're special and the person is taken to a separate room. I don't remember which brother had the glowing blood but the aliens try to separate the brothers but the younger brother ended up hurting the aliens trying to separate them with a burst of power. It turns out the boy has rare blood and powers. The commander of the ship takes the boy and his brother and wants to take the younger brother as a mate. The story remains unfinished, I think. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me find this story. It was very well written, I remember. I've had the aching to reread it. Thanks!
