I thought it high time I started replying to people who took the time to send me a review, rather than just those who emailed me. Since I don't write enough for each story to warrent its own review reply thread (and particularly, since I don't write much in the way of the eagerly followed multiparters that have people on the edge of possibly damp seats for updates ), I have just created a general thread for comics, and will make any more needed for other site subdomains. I will make sure to identify which story and review I am replying too so there's no confusion.

I have added a note to my author profile page letting folks know to come look at the forum, and if this works out I can add forum thread specifc links for each subdomain to the same bit!

So, without further ado, comics!

I recently posted the story Savagery and have received three reviews to reply too:

bitamin717 - Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the star system, I don't really pay all that much attention to the star ratings because they're so spur of the moment. I put much more weight on reviews and long term hit count. This does go for the stories that have inexplicably managed a reasonably high star rating too! The build up was based around the need to have a suitably powerful and unpleasant character who wasn't previously known, as the requester wanted an OC. I used the pre-existing antipathy between Vandal Savage and everyone, and the DC version of Hecate and Diana to provide that.

DemonGoddess061 - I already PM'd to say thanks, and here it is again: Thanks for your compliment on my writing ability! As I said to bitamin above, I don't put too much store in the star system. I try and put in sufficient warning and cover every story code (and in this case, a pretty blatant summary) eventuality to ensure that people who don't care for the unpleasantness don't have to suffer it, but sometimes the mere existance of a work of fiction is going to irk people and I can accept that! Even the folks who read the stuff knowing they won't like it I symphathise with -I read part of one of Ann Coulter's books once despite knowing I'd probably feel ill, and, yep...

artemisgirl - I think you've got the wrong end of the stick over Darius' characterisation. He's not a Mary Sue character, but a Slasher character. He's a less entertaining Jason Vorhees, rather than Wesley Crusher the boy who outshines Harry Potter at everything and ends up finger banging Ginny on her wedding night. The Slasher type doesn't need a whole lot of characterisation (though it can help - Freddy being an example), or backstory, it just needs to be an unstoppable force. They're highly prevalent in the pwp rapefic an snuffic genre, while yer basic Mary Sue tends to appear in more of a plotted setting. I could have used any of the villanous characters in the DC Universe who can realistically overpower Diana (eg Darkseid, Doomsday, Superboy Prime etc) or beat her otherwise (Deathstroke, Lady Shiva, hell, Secret Six's Jeanette put her down and frothing...) except that as noted at the start this of the story was done as a request for cloak, and cloak specified he wanted an entirely new character.

I heartily agree that Wonder Woman comes across as wooden and fake and whiny though! I'm not that bothered about her character in the comics (though she was a great part of Morrison's JLA run) which is probably why I didn't get around to doing a story with her until cloak requested it. Regarding your final comment from "and feels" onwards, this reads somewhat like a frankly baseless personal attack rather than a review of the story so I will refrain from comment. If I have miscontrued this, I apologise.

5) What were you doing even clicking this story? The third line down includes warning of mutilation and acid-cum. You're not reading House at Pooh Corner.

6) I have "Won't you come home Bill Bailey" going around in my head now. Can't stop laughing.

Another truly outstanding story, JayDee! The opening was a nice set-up, and the use of Vandal Savage was inspired. I can totally see that guy pulling something like this. You described the scenario nicely, and Courtney was an excellent choice as a point-of-view character. I've always liked Stargirl, even if I didn't know much about her. I liked the sense of dread as Savage left her to the tender mercies of the facehugger. Perhaps in contrast to some, I thought the original ending worked just fine; it's probably the way I would ended the story if I had written it. That said, the alternate ending has its own charms, and works well, too. I might have wanted a little more about the struggle and choking from Courtney's point of view and what it was like to have the hugger on her face. But that's a small thing. Anyway, another winner!

Well, one thing hasn't changed. I still like facehuggers. Beeen working on and off on an Alien story for a few years. Even if the VGCats face full of alien wing wang portrayal cracked me up so darn much,

Thanks also for this review! I got into Stargirl through the JSA run at the ass end of the 90s/early 2000s when I still got to read a lot of comics. Savage was always portrayed as a total asshole in the comics I used to read, so I figured he did make a good fit. I did like the original ending myself! You don't need to see extra stuff, it's enough to have an air of horror. Well, that's what the original Alien suggested anyhow.

Killer Frost Killer, based on a character prompt for a challenge thread called "Best Way To Kill" is very much old style JD thematic unpleasantness. Took about an hour and a half, an a third of that was establishing which DC comic to refer to for the disclaimer for this version of the character. And it's possibly still wrong.

Stargirl: Black Bred White Bread The latest of my re-writes! This was originally a fairly short two parter, but is now up to three parts based on the first two, with a new-but-for-two paragraphs final part to finish off that I'm working on. Still doing a little polishing on parts 2 and 3, but should have part 2 up tomorrow and probably part 3 next week.

I'm not writing specifically about this story but just in general. I've been enjoying your work for about the last five years now. I don't read all of them nor do I manage to fap off on them all the time. What I like depends heavily on the theme and characters used. For me, it's regular guys dominating powerful women like this story here. Regardless, I'm quite impressed with the range of stories you tell and your writing skills but most of all, every one of your stories I've read, you managed to surprise and sicken me(in a good way) with your innovative concepts and descriptive writing on the torture and humiliation scenes.

Hope you're not too discourage from the lack of responses to your stories. It doesn't seem like a very rewarding experience in that regard but I'm sure there are a bunch of other lurkers like me who enjoy reading your stuff. I hope your creative juices keep flowing

Hi there! Thanks for your comments. That story certainly has a powerful character dominated! It's nice to hear from a long term reader, I guess there's been quite a bit of variety so I think readers who like one story probably won't like another. A certain sense of being sickened is probably the healthiest response to some of my stories, though obviously not if I do a wholesome idea like the Chief Wiggum/Comic Book Guy slash request I had recently to play off the hard gay imagery of a corrupt cop and a bearded chubb like CBG.

I do love to get feedback and responses, and that's why I've been adding more "review me!" type comments of late because it has seemed like the number of folks willing to review has tailed off, but I've always been lucky that it isn't a major driving force for me as it seems to be for some amateur writers. I write as a hobby and for the fun of it and that's a'right. Still though, each time I get some good feedback it is a good feeling, even negative reviews because at least my story reached someone somehow. Even if it was in the "made them throw up" sense.

Thanks for your time in leaving the comments and I do hope you continue to enjoy for as long as I'm allowed to continue writing (ie until I am locked away in a secure facility and banned from accessing the internet after someone in authority reads chapter 6 of "Ending the Fan".)

Thank you for your review! I've started on the ending chapter, but slow going, it's harder than a re-write doing new stuff Power Girl is in it, but not in a sex scene. I think the only time I did a story with PG previously was in Part 3 of Fun with Dick and Rose and that was by far the worst part, so I might have to do a proper PG story soon. I thought that the three chapters here set up a nice story of humiliation, one a bit less gory than some of your other stories. Look forward to seeing what idea you come up with for the final chapter. I'd say not to do the cliche porn ending, either, but of the other options I'm not sure which'd be funniest and most twisted. This is probably one of the sickest, most vile and disturbing pieces of work I have read on here so far. Oh my God. I feel like pouring bleach into my eyeballs, tearing them out, eating them, regurgitating them, and then eating what I just regurgitated. Then repeating the cycle until I mercifully pass out/die from blood loss. Nothing (not even Fifty Shades of Gray) can compare to this, Nothing, I repeat. Nothing. NOTHING. I am this close to putting a gun to my head and permanently erasing any memory of what I just read (LOL, not really). As well-written (maybe a little too so) as this story was, and no matter how many warnings or disclaimers you put at the top, nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to witness. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go off to the bathroom to indulge in a night-long session of projectile vomiting. Wish me luck, cause I sure as hell think I'm gonna need it, especially tonight.

It's my post holiday season diet plan - read a JayDee fic and then lose 12 pounds in hurling as well as toning up the stomach muscles with all the heaving.

It's always nice when someone takes the time to leave their thoughts on one of my little eldritch abominations, and while I'm sorry that you were left somewhat the worse for wear by it, I suspect from the tone that you'll be over things pretty fast! I think the warnings and summary do make the content clear so at possibly the surprise will have been slightly negated slightly.

What I'd like to see is another chappy with Killer Frost getting rape!tortured in Hell! Suffering indignities but not being allowed the end that death would bring. (I'm just rambling feel free to ignore me)

(still rambling, ignore me), you've written a number of DC fics, you ever think of connecting them? Like with a mete-fic where Batman investigates a string of superhero rapes?

I did a KF story as a challenge! I don't actually know the character all that well - I know Captain Cold way better So I probably won't do a further part, sorry! .

Re - the Batman meta idea - If written properly, with full respect for his abilities, I figure it'd be over too quickly - the superhero rapist wouldn't even make it to shooting his load before Batman kicked the door in and then broke his arms, legs, and that little bone that's quite hard to do. Because he's the goddamn Batman. Also, Stargirl dies in two of the stories and is horribly violated in a third, so if they were connected together then investigation point one would be "How come Stargirl keeps coming back from the dead and suffering horribly again?" A better writer than me could do a kickass job though, so it's a fine idea but above my skill level!

Well, you asked so kindly for a review. I'll give you some of my thoughts... And the first thing I want to mention is, I've read most of your stories, and, well, sometimes you go a bit too far. In this case pissing on someone just seems like insult to injury. I know it's a fetish and that's cool. But it seems like nearly everyone of your fics has a fetish that might just plain turn off a casual reader. I'm not saying you should stop, I enjoy most of your fics, but it's a trend that has become predictable in your writing. But that's just my taste in writing speaking and you can ignore it if you want...

Other then that I really enjoyed this.

Another thing I'd like to mention; most of your stories seem to have Bad Ends (as in the unhappy kind). So, I'd like to cast my vote on an ending for this one; Stargirl escapes and brilliantly murders her captors, or hires Deathstroke to do so, and rather then return to her old life she becomes a Super Villain! This would be a fitting back story to a villain.

Or the Bruce Wayne ending. It'd be interesting to see him react, or a really Bad End... He fails to recognize her as Stargirl.

No matter what you go with I'm sure it'll be worth reading

A lot of my superhero stories have bad ends. I think I was probably exposed to Garth Ennis at too early an age, but it's less so in other things I've done! I think. Maybe. *looks at own sig* Who the fuck am I kidding? I'm a monster. Yeah, the whole pissing for degradation thing is definitely a niche audience thing. In a few stories I've taken it further and used shit, so it could have been worse The thing of it is, the more extreme stories are not aimed at casual readers so if I lose a few I'm not so bothered - as long as they stick around for my non-extreme stuff! Like You! You! is good.

Stargirl couldn't afford Deathstroke! She could probably stretch to King Shark. And I think I just gave myself an entirely unconnected story idea. Hold on a minute! You'd like me to make Stargirl a villain? Would the inevitable follow up then be Stargirl "getting her due" as a villain alongside Killer Frost? I'm on to your villains in peril fetish I kid, I kid... I did do a rape revenge story with Cho Chang from Harry Potter and it wasn't that great, so I don't know if I'd do any better with Stargirl - it's a thought though!

Thanks again for all of your thoughts! I'm really glad you took the time to read through and leave comments, and while obviously it wasn't entirely to your liking I'm glad you got some enjoyment from them. I don't know when I'll have time to write again, but hopefully it'll be something enjoyable next time, or just an ending to the Stargirl story - I did start on it, but then haven't had time since, so I think I might start again from scratch.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to comment! I never read those stories, the whole MLP resurgence kind of passed me by - I read a couple of Fairy Slayer's MLP stories and they were fun, but I needed help on terminology! Surely, given the description, "Teenaged Heroine The Spoiler puts herself in Killer Croc’s way and becomes both date and dinner, and the content codes, a better question would be "why did you read stuff like this?" I'm assuming it's the thematic side of it you're unhappy with, but the way I figure it is, if someone doesn't like certain themes or content they don't need to subject their eyes to them - there'll be something around the corner with Batman knocking up Nightwing or Beastboy angsting over whether to chat up the half demon girl or the all demon boy that'll be more to their tastes!

Spoiled Meat review - and I just realised that Killer Croc is going to be in the awesome looking new Suicide Squad movie, so I wonder if that'll generate more reader interest on this comic-version of the character story. Funnily enough, the actor playing him in the movie has described him as "a cannibal with rage issues" which does rather fit the story characterisation... anyhoo...

I've owed you this review for a week or so, since I saw your reply review thread, and my brain immediately said: Wow, if someone has reacted like this, I have to read!

I was not disappointed. The details... oh, wow! This reads like a cross between an horrific cartoon and a Hostel movie. The rape. Okay. I've seen authors write about bashing cervixes no end of times. So much so blah usually. But this here, this is just amazing writing! You gave me enough description to suspend my disbelief and see it happening.

And then the eating, written as a natural progression from the rape/disembowelling rather than separate scenes. I don't know this fandom, so I don't know this character, but I hardly need to. You gave me all the information I needed. Stuff like this shouldn't flow, but it does here. In full colour.

And then that final bit of the scene. I am so completely in awe of you. To me you are a legend. Bravo!

I've pretty much always gone for the cervix as "if someone's hitting it, it's going to fucking hurt" here it's emphasising Croc's monstrous nature that he physically breaks her and eventually tears into her guts. It's anatomically dodgy, but so is Killer Croc! I suppose if I write vile horrible pornography it ought at least to flow well!

I liked this a lot. I didn't read the actual comics, but I was familiar with the general arc of the story and Superboy-Prime as a baddie. Rainbow Girl, I had to remind myself about.
Of course I loved the watersports aspect, and your being careful that Superboy didn't cave in RG's skull with his superstream. I'm a little disappointed that Rainbow Girl didn't last a bit longer, but hey, it was fun while she lasted. I assume she was too confused/stunned to try to use her powers? It might have been interesting if she managed to make him feel pity for her, or some other emotion. Hell, maybe she could have compelled him to kill her faster!
If you're ever in the mood, it might be a good story to revisit this idea with Superboy-Prime choosing a more durable victim

Thanks for your review! - Superboy-Prime pretty much got to no-sell everything except superspeed in the comics, so I think I played off that I think the whole stunned thing probably applies too. He killed a lot of folks pretty fast, and that'd be shocking. Thanks again.

I haven't written so little in years, I actually had a couple of free evenings where I wasn't exhausted and still just ended up staring at a blank screen because the mental energy wasn't there, and then back to being too busy and exhausted. Wonderful prelude, detailed characters and continuously rising tensions until shattering climaxes (pun intended). Also the little background bits you provided about, for instance, the nightstick's origin or Felicia's anal experienced college friend. It all contributes to a Masterpiece of Porn! I especially liked your descriptions of Ian. At several points I expected him to have a heart attack for real. And I've even learned something new. Never heard of "anal bleaching" before. There's even a Wikipedia article about it. With pictures! O.o

Thank you for your review! I've been told that the polite term for anal bleaching is "Changing one's ring tone." I think Ian's basic size and shape came from KZ-01's original request that led to the first part, they had a few ideas with similarly physically unappealing males and attractive female partners, I tried to put my own spin on a little while keeping in the spirit of the request.

Glad you enjoyed it - at the time I thought it was my best story, but I think some of the stuff I did since was better.

From what I've read so far, I consider You! and The Taking of Felicia Harding as your best. But there is much more I haven't read ,yet, though I won't touch your HP stories. Don't like the fandom. Neither the books nor the movies (and I tried).

BUT I've warmed up in general with violence and gore content since I realized it depends on the fandom as well as expectations. I'm half through Five Women. One Night. and the violence doesn't bother me at all. Quite the contrary. I'll drop a review the next couple of days if I manage to finish it.

Back to TToFH: I was really impressed with the way you described Felicia and Ian. The small bits, like when he had to catch his breath or his aching bones etc. really made him to an unique character and not arbitrary replaceable like it's often the case, especially in porn stories. That gave me an anticipation boost for the Willow story. Should Willow and the guys receive the same treatment from you... *dreamy sigh*.

When your time and muse momentarily doesn't allow you to write properly, there's nothing either of us can do about it but wait and hope, sadly. Let me know when the air is clear again, I wouldn't mind for a further sample.

Don't wait for me! If you have an idea, get it done - I could be months yet, but if you have the inspiration and the urge then write! Write like there's no tomorrow! (Don't use as many exclamation marks as me). I've read a few of your stories now, by and large the content tends to be a little too extreme for me, but I do quite like your writing style. This story in particular I think managed to keep a good pace and not become too fantastical to not be taken seriously. Thank you for your review! There’s defnately a range of content over the stuff I wrote. From cuddly and almost romantic to dismemberment. Some of which was also cuddly. Sorry about the errors – I worked without a beta and did the best I could but fucked up here and there!
