englishwitch Posted August 21, 2006 Author Report Posted August 21, 2006 Finding that one in a million book that you only have to read once becasue it touches and moves you in such a way that you can't read it again. I've only found two in all my years of reading. Quote
Guest Madapple Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 The smell of rain and freshly cut grass. Fresh mountain air. Antelope running down a main street during rush hour! Finding out that because of a new play Alan Rickman is going to be on my continent. (Let the restraining orders begin.) Not getting a phone call from the Nashville PD. (a strange story.) School is starting next week. My kids being home! Quote

Guest Little_Girl_Lost Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Cashew nuts. Strangely, the fact that they must average something between 500-800 calories a handful only adds to the gladness I recieve whilst consuming them. Painkillers make me very glad. Pirate slash; though sadly, the thought of a POTC WillXBill fic is still just a delightful fantasy of mine.... Quote
Guest cu-kid Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 The sound of rain and the low rumble of thunder during a summer night just as I'm about to doze off. Being adopted by a cat that doesn't belong to me or live with me, but still comes running into the room and starts to purr when he hears the sound of my voice. The way new art supplies look and smell. The rooms filled with stacks and stacks of books at the local used bookstore. Quote
Guest Enchanted Faery Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 My cats loud purr when he's kneading at me. The smell of sakura blossoms in the air, letting me know that spring is here and summer is coming soon. The Fall out Boy CD my family and friends Quote
