Okay, I read this story a while ago, and have been looking for it for a few days. I figured since I haven't had any luck I might as well see if anyone else recognizes it.

I believe this is how it starts off but it might have come later: Hermione and Severus have been married for awhile and, believing Severus doesn't care for her and never will Hermione tries to kill herself. She uses poison(I think arsenic). Severus gets there in time to save her, but afterwards she is very ill and her heart weak. Voldemort is alive and Severus is still spying, but he decides to take Hermione on a vacation to egypt, and while there gets her a scarab pendant that protects her and changes color.

That's what I remember from this, and I really hope that someone recognizes it as I'd love to read it again and it's driving me crazy that I can't. Thanks!
