I think he saves harry from voldemort (might have delivered the killing blow). He goes to Azkaban for a few months. in the meantime, Harry and draco become friends, with harry dropping by malfoy manor to Hmake sure draco keeps in line. Lucius getting back from Azkaban and hiding from harry during a surprise visit because he wants his mate to see him all presentable instead of scruffy. Eventually Harry and Lucius fall in love. There's also visits to another dimension (elf i think) through a tree in a forest where Harry is very respected and participates in an archery competition because the prince (his friend) asks him to.
