Lately when trying to read or catch up on the forum, it locks up, doesn't load fully and I have to restart browsing window. Other times I'll read a topic and the space between replies is enormus, its hard to find the next reply down the page. This is the only board I go to that does the above. Any ideas on what could be causing this? All programs are up to date on my computer. Thanks knight

All of the above!! Thoughts on some of those: While I do have/write about non-con/rape...there isn't that many really, mostly just implied. Chat/message speak: ACK!!! nothing gets my back button working fast enough. Minors: no...no...no...any person under 17, forget it. I will read 17 and up thought. 16 yrs old going on 17 in a month, is still pushing it. The constant use of description for the main character, wheather in dialogue or just standing around thinking or doing absolutely nothing. I've tried writing with the British accent, some can pull it off, but...if you can't write it the way it sounds, then don't. I don't think a British person writes it the way it sounds, they don't drop the second t in little when they write it. lit'le

I've had a few where the ending idea came first, then work backwards from there. Others, the endind is there, just a matter of getting to it with all the bits 'n' pieces to work around. One of my fiction pieces...yeah, I'd like to know the ending, but as of now, there isn't one. Maybe I'll find a way to just end it...some how. knight

I finally got around to changing the title for this story/topic on the forum. Don't know why I didn't put it like that in the first place. Through the Decades includes the entire series, each divided into 'books': Rock of Ages, Forever - COMPLETE The Decision - COMPLETE Life Goes On Everlasting Love When Night Falls The Winds of Destiny None are as long as Rock of Ages, which is currently at chapter 80, with about 20 more to go. Finally started reading this one over the weekend and finished yesterday. Wasn't sure about reading it at first, since I really don't care to read 'first person' fiction. I'm happy that I did give it a chance!! The writing style makes you almost forget that it's 'first person' or Shawn's POV=author. Love it!! Many times I wanted to reach through the screen and throttle Anthony and his short memory, jock or not, he kept forgetting how badly he tormented Shawn over the years and how quickly he forgot. That lead to a lot of yelling from Shawn and Anthony still didn't get it. I like their little bickering matches. Sorry, couldn't help but to giggle through the whole first BJ for both of them, guess that is what made it so good, hot, both of them inexperienced and learning what the other liked as they went along. Hopefully Anthony will accept that he is gay at some in point, one less thing for them to argue about. I'll put the rest of my reviews/feedback where it should be.

This probably isn't in the right place.... Is is possible for the hit counter on a fiction work be wrong? Can it be counting double? Just wondering because the one on my fiction has jumped way up there in a matter of days. From 187 to over 400 since Thrusday.
