D= Mmm, it was pretty hard for us to write; I actually sat down and tried planning it out all day, so we wouldn't be stuck. It helped us to some degree by letting us know how we wanted the scene to start, how it should end, and a few key points in the middle, but it still left us a lot of wiggle room to try figuring out everything in-between. Some of the characters don't have much screen time so not everyone knows everything about them, but Rose and I talk constantly about their pasts, their futures, and everything in-between so they've all become almost family. Only Joe is the exception here, yet I still like him because he was such a strong force in moving the story along. Can't dislike him for that. Who do I hate? Joe, hands down. I don't think he's ever been mentioned in a kind light at all, in the story. not once. XD We've kind of demonized the man. But then again... Chapter 22. D< Enough said.

Hello, all! Wir here, in case anyone isn't familiar with me. I'm the lady who came up with the story concept for Shut Up And Drive, and one of two women in a co-writing team helping bring it to life. If you're just joining in or you haven't read the story, I'll be putting anything I consider a spoiler into Spoiler Tags so you won't have any surprises ruined for you. However, if you really are new to the SUaD story I suggest reading the first two chapters before browsing here, as practically EVERYTHING can be considered a spoiler until you at least have that under your belt. From here on out, I'll be posting all replies to reviews in this thread and if there are any questions you readers have, feel free to ask! I'll do my best to answer without giving out spoilers, and if we're lucky, I can convince RosePetalDreams to overcome her shyness and post in here as well!

I should have posted something here, but I completely forgot about this thread's existence and... well, I have already found a new co-writer and this story is actually about to reach its end. Sorry, sorry, my bad! I would, however, love your input if you're still reading and interested. An author learns to grow in two ways: 1) writing, writing, writing and 2) criticism and review.

I did a quick search to see if I could find any stories that have the characters using anal beads, but with the search feature letting us filter only through Author, Title, and Summary, I received no results. I'm open to reading anything that doesn't just have cocks, dildos, and whips, but mainly I'm looking for fics with anal beads. Or maybe toys made out of food (carrots, cucumbers, ginger, etc.)?

Here's my review: I'm not sure if I'm a good judge, when it comes to Final Fantasy fics-- I played the game (and Dirge of Cerberus) too long ago to remember anything vital about character personalities-- but I will say that I'm intrigued by what I read. Even if I thought the character's might be a bit OOC, I wouldn't be able to say there's any fault in it. A year has passed, after all, and many things have changed. Everyone's been traumatized and/or stressed by the entire thing, so they're going to act differently. I'm glad that Reno's not giving up, but I'm worried about Rufus's stability. and, on top of it all, just who could that mysterious stranger be? One of the triplets from the movie? I figured they'd be dead, but I thought that of Sephiroth and he just keeps popping up like a stubborn weed. A few typos, but nothing that would ruin the flow of the story and detract from it. Overall, I like where this is going. I have four stories up for review, though I'd prefer if someone would read either Shut Up and Drive or Nights At The Twisted Dragon. I started the "Review Exchange Thread" a while back, and it was pointed out to me that my author page is now gone. It's really disheartening, since one of my favorite stories was uploaded there and it's no longer on my hard drive. Is there any way to recover that old account, or at least the stories? If not, I do have a new account to replace the old one. It sucks to start fresh, but I'm not against doing it. How would I change my Author Page link in the forums, if this is my only option?

Wow, all my stories are gone. My account, too. That's... creepy. I never took them down. Ah, well. This is the first time the exchange thread has gotten a hit since I first posted it, which makes me happy enough.

I post on three. AFF, FF, and Deviantart. Deviantart is more for visual art but it does have the option to post poetry and prose. Since the art for my fics is there already, it's pretty easy. The art is on my account (haywire-hakaze) and the story posted is on Hakaze's account (hakaze-haywire).

Here's one I got for my co-written original story, Shut Up And Drive: There are four other reviews on the story so far, but this one's my favorite. I received some information that helped me and my so-author improve, and for that I love it. But before I got this review another on touched my heart and had me 'squeeing' for a good week. It still gets to me sometimes. This one came from my Inuyasha story on fanfiction.net, Childish Illusions: Not only was this an OUTSTANDING, well-written review (on fanfiction.net, that fact alone making it a rare and precious gem indeed), if I remember right she was only 15 or 16 when she gave this wonderful review to me and brightened my whole week. The young'uns usually don't take their time with things like this. It was a thrill when I found out. =)

A copy of the review should be posted here, or at least a notification. For example, if you posted your stories and I read one, I would review as soon as I read it. If I felt like it I could copy the review and post it in this thread before I put my own stories up for reading, or I could say "I reviewed Insert Story Here and I was logged in so you'll know it was me". Basically, I only expect rulebreakers to be people who didn't read them in the first place. =) I hope that cleared things up, and I'll edit the Rules post to include this explanation.

Before we begin I'd like to say that I know there's another Review Exchange thread. It was a great idea but it needed some ground rules for it to work. That's why I'm starting this one. Rule 1: For the first poster: To get your stories reviewed, post them-- all of them, in one post-- in the following format: Title: Genre/Group: Summary: Warnings: Link: If they are not in this format, it makes it difficult for people to know if they want to read it or not. Rule 2: For posters after the first one: Leave a review on one of the stories above! Inane comments like "That's cool" or "I like it" are not enough. Give detail as to why you like it, or what can be improved. Only AFTER you give your review in a post here, can you list your stories to be reviewed. Again, you only have to review ONE of the stories before you list all of the stories you have. Also, don't forget to use the above format! Note: You don't have to read the whole story, if it's a long one. You can say "I read up to chapter 2 (3, 4, whatever) and from what I've read (insert the review here)". If you like it from there on, you can continue reading but it's not a requirement. Rule 3: If someone does not follow Rule 2, ignore them. For example: Snapes_Tru_Fan lists her stories for review. I seem to remember a long time ago about this thread where the second poster reviewed a story from the first poster (any story from the stories the person has) and then the third poster reviews something of the second poster's, and so on. The reviews are posted in the thread, and can also be posted as a regular review for the author's benefit. I don't see a thread like this anymore and I was wondering if they're allowed, and if so, would they go in this subforum or a different one.

I'm looking everywhere for a co-writer to do an Alternate Universe Inuyasha story with me. I've asked around, everywhere. Deviantart, Neopets, Gaia Online, FurAffinity... I'm not having much luck in those departments. I realize it's probably because I have to be vague and can't tell everyone what I want to do. Here, I can. I want to do a story where Kagome's mother and grandpa are dead, and she had to drop out of college (college, yes) and move in with her friend Sango, to take care of Souta and Kohaku. With Sango's help she gets a job in Tokyo's red light district, as a "performing"/"story-dancing" stripper. As she's heading home from work, she runs into what she thinks is a very handsome homeless man (Inuyasha) and helps him get a job in the red light district as well. Not all is well, of course. As Kagome slowly falls in love with Inuyasha she has to fight the jealousy she feels because her DJ/co-dancer Kikyo is Inuyasha's ex, and she wants him back! Not only that, but a past mistake comes back to haunt Kagome, in more ways than one. It may sound a bit drama-esque, but I hope it will be great. All major Inuyasha characters will make an appearance at one time or another, as well. If interested, give me an example of how you roleplay via a mock-up post. I want literacy or semi-literacy-- someone with a good grasp of the English language, who doesn't use chatspeak and "Inuyasha: *smirks* You're hot" posts.
