funky pigment-less skin + antibiotics = epic sunblock failure, debriding and silvadene cream. Wishing I had something stronger than Motrin in the house. Laid up for a bit folks. Hands took a lot of damage. Two fingered typing.

My guy is fine! Swelling is gone and he's perfectly healthy! Vet says he's the biggest and healthiest 14 year old cat they've ever seen. I'm so relieved i want to cry LOL.

I’m considering starting a new monthly word prompt, for those who’d like to have more than a week to write something. But I’m wondering if people would prefer something other than a one word prompt, or whether that would be enough? Or maybe people don’t see the need for it? And the winner for the TSTL contest for the day: my employer at the track, "Leave the radio with the headset for someone who needs it." Uhm, okay. Will that person be taking down all of the race finishes, under pressure, with seven people screaming at them, 20 cars without mufflers warming up and roughly 125 generators running in the background? Or answering protests? Or directing the safety crews? Yes? Then WTF do you need me for?
