Pay period is seven days, Wednesday to Tuesday.  So that 85+ hours was Thursday through Tuesday.  I also worked Wednesday for 13.5 and today for 10.5.  I THINK I’m off tomorrow, but I don’t know for sure yet

7 days is 168 hours, max, so yeah, 100+ hrs/week, that’s some serious overloading which I normally don’t hear about apart from the game development industry!    And here I thought you’d have a vacation or something, you deserve it!

Yeah, go to school until you get really tired of it (that’s what I did).  Congrats on making the change in your life, hope it works out better for you (in the long run).

It sounds like this is a move for the better, so congratulations! Nothing is worse than working at a job you don’t like.

I’m soooo happy for you. You deserve this reprieve from that terrible job, and the excitement of going back to a sanctuary of learning! I hope it’s everything you want it to be.

AFF is an amazing place. :3

My Bunny went through a phase for a bit where he decided he wasn’t autistic. Our response was to ask him what he thought was going on, and he told us they hadn’t figured it out yet. This year, he’s decided to embrace being autistic. But really, as far as I’m concerned, he’s my Bunny, and my best travel buddy. 
Sadly, in order to get him the aid he’ll need throughout life, we do need “labels” no matter how much I don’t really like them. On the other hand, I like seeing him defy expectations, and do things people don’t expect him to have mastered. He’s really a cool kid, even given my obvious prejudice in his favor. 

My Youngerspawn is on the spectrum, fairly high functioning but with a speech delay, social delay and a profound love of quadratic equations. And trains

My brother has aspergers, I’ve just got the sensory sensitivies , and the eye contact thing, (And I’ve been called a robot lol) but haven’t been tested so my membership is debatable. It’s possible my symptoms are learned from being so close to him in my formative years. Apparently I’ve thought about this a lot. Maybe too much. Either way, I’m 100% an ally, and I’m thrilled that this is such a positive thing for you. 

Now, if you still have to go in, make it fun.   You could leave an empty roll of plastic wrap in the restroom.  Or, go for the game/adventure with a toilet paper scavenger hunt.

@DemonGoddess  IMO, a vacation is a vacation.   Too bad about the accident involving the phone and a sledgehammer….  Or, dismiss the call as a scam.
