If you changed the rating, just looking at it often won't show the change. You have to use ctrl+F5 to FORCE a refresh and clear the older version of the page from your cache

Easiest way around this issue is to not use Internet Explorer. Use Chrome, Safari, Firefox, ANYTHING but IE.

Unless you know html, and know to add the text containers in your document, do not upload a plain text document. Wordwall is what happens, as you've seen. Are you only using WordPad, or do you have an actual word processor that you write in?
