  1. sounds good! I tried to find the right forums... Before I make a mistakke, can you tell me where I can create a thread?
  2. ...if only to say 'read my profile!'. Perhaps the reviewers don't realize we can't reply. Asking questions or making comments is useless. It gnaws at me if I read something without being able to give my response... My latest 'I wish I could reply!' was triggered when someone complained I pause my stories when I'm out of inspiration. They will not read my stuff anymore because I disappoint them if I don't update every day. I think I spoil my readers too much
  3. So I got this complaint: Not to be too cranky, but it would be really awesome if you'd finish a story before losing interest and flitting off to a new one. Seems to be a trend (I *had* several of your stories as faves) and I guess I'll quit checking in. It's very sad and frustrating to get sucked into an interesting and well-written fiction, only to have it abandoned...with no resolution...are we really all this ADHD? You were updating this story practically daily, which was awesome, and had just gotten to a pivotal part, coming to the future. I was really psyched & now it's been over a month since it was updated & you're going great guns on a brand new story. Did you run out of plot? Lose inspiration? Get bored? You could at least write a crappy "and they lived happily ever after in any time they desired" to give the story closure. Your disappointed reader, [name removed] Let me reply. I don't have ADHD. I love my stories; each and every one of them. I love to update every day. I even write at work! But sometimes the flood of inspiration dries out, and I'm done for a while. I take a break. And I begin another story. I'm sorry to disappoint readers. But isn't that what this site is for? Updating chapters, rather than posting a complete story in one go? I can't force my inspiration. How can anyone expect that from me? Am i really the only one to pause for a while?
  4. Hi! My name is Laevi, and I've just discovered AFF. I posted a few of my stories so far, to see how they are received here. I write gay erotic stories (slash?) and make the illustrations for them. Of course they're sold at Cafepress... I started writing 20 years ago (I'm 39 now) and feel I'm still learning, but so far I'm pretty content with what I come up with. At the moment I'm writing my biggest love-story, over 350 pages in paperback already, and I post chapters on Y!Gallery (must register) for feedback. I created a group of men called Wolves. They're over 30 characters I regularly write about, I even role-played them for months, and since I developed them decades ago, they're very easy to imagine. My stories are about love. Sometimes fluffy, when I feel I need it, sometimes pure hardcore, but never one-night stands. Maybe it's because I know my lover for 13 years already and am still in love, I don't know. By the way, I'm Dutch, and English is my second language. So I hope it's good enough. Thanks for this site, I think I'll like it here! xxx Laevi
