Ask A Stupid Question, Get A Stupid Answer!

I'm thinking it could be on top of the stove. Did you think to look there? -
I am no longer allowed to put 300 on repeat and let it run through four times without paying attention to it at all.
-
I have - you have to down here - they act like the Gestapo. I have never before created a data base for entering fics before last night.
-
Nope - not tonight. Teeta?

I am cross eyed from going through Kingdom Hearts fics. I am thinking that we should hold a mandatory webinar on how to write a disclaimer and how to use the warning codes. I am wanting to scream after reading 7 chapters of a fic and STILL not knowing where it should go. I am stating that I am 148 fics down and only 552 fics to go. I am saying that on a good note it's Friday and I have nothing to do this weekend but sit in front of the computer. I am also saying that I can do this as I told my family that it's for "work" purposes. I am thinking that isn't a lie... just a retelling of a truth to fit my purposes.

When I'm not reading some questionable fan fiction I've got my tried and true copy of Fellowship of the Rings... so I'm on a Tolkien kick.

Does talking to your muses and having them talk back count? They tell me what I should write all the time... wait! Is that cheating?
-
I talk to myself - and I answer sometimes... you really aren't in trouble until you answer yourself with "Hmmm? What did you say?"

May baby here. I was born on Mother's Day - at least that's what I was told... I haven't gone back to check on it though. (And here's something interesting - my niece was born on my birthday too - I guess it runs in the family).

I don't trust doctors as far as I can throw them. I've dealt with them both personally and professionally - and let me tell you - it's rare indeed to find one that not only thinks they're human but acts like it as well. When I was 13 I had an "accident" that left me in a coma for 6 weeks. When I woke up I found out that my Godfather had to light a fire under all of them (from the CNA's to the doctors) just to take care of me. He pretty much stood watch over me 24/7 to make sure that my stitches were small, I was bathed, my IV was taken care of, and that I was treated like a sick HUMAN and not some pet that should have been put to sleep. If he hadn't been there my scars would be worse and I may not have had all my faculties when I woke up - if I had woken up at all. When I was married... well let's just say that the only doctor who cared what happened to me was my OB/GYN. He was the one who kept the police informed and tried to get me help with not just the injuries I had sustained that threatened my unborn baby, but also the mental issues that arose. It's been my experience that most doctors can't be bothered with hearing what their patients have to say. It's as if we're stupid and don't have a clue what's going on with our bodies. I had to fight to get an MRI last October when I had stroke like symptoms that sent me to the ER. The only thing they found was normal scaring due to migraines, but there could have been something else that had caused the reaction. I also think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm a woman, and I'll give you an example. My Aunt kept going to the doctor with these horribly debilitating headaches when she was 42 and they told her it was ALL IN HER HEAD (no duh!). They kept sending her home with pain killers - not one of them ever did a CT or an MRI even though she asked for the tests because women didn't have these problems. It took her collapsing at work and slipping into a coma before they finally did the tests they should have done before. The diagnosis? She had a blood clot in her carotid artery that could have been taken care of way before it became this dangerous. Once she had woken up these same doctors told my Uncle that she would never talk, walk, or even feed herself again - and they gave up on her completely, dooming her to a nursing home for the rest of her life. If it hadn't been for my Uncle she wouldn't be able to not only feed herself, but cook for her family. She wouldn't be able to drive, walk, talk, laugh or live. He did what all the doctors refused to do - he cared about her enough to work with her. Forgive me for this, but if doctors can't get a major shot of humanity they aren't worth the paper their degree is stamped on.

Happy Birthday.

You know - I have a new one (or two). A friend of mine got me started on Bleach, and a few of those guys aren't all that bad. Ichigo definitely, and Renji. My oldest daughter seems to be following in my footsteps as well - but she likes Hitsugaya... at least she's staying in her own age group - so to speak.

Nope. Trea?

Did you check in between your mattress and box springs? -
If kids are considered animals then I have. I have never liked cooking boxed meals.
-
Not Guilty - and it doesn't look like I'll be guilty of that anytime soon. G/NG shudders at the thought of an Mpreg.

I am no longer allowed to put off making dinner in the hopes that someone else will do it for me.
-
I am farting around on the forum while the meat is cooking for tonight's masterpiece of culinary delight ( We're talking Hamburger Helper folks) I am saying I got two whole pages written before starting dinner - not bad for 30 minutes of work.
-
Guilty - G/NG - prefers writing fanfictions to original stories.
-
I have - we breed those for a couple of years as well, but stopped when we started losing money instead of making it. I have never not done a job because it was dangerous.
