    Actually, on rereading the chapter , I feel the build-up is fine as it is. The main issue I had a was the "then Lara ran into the bandits" clause. Because of its placement right after your paragraph with past tense reminiscence, I initially was confused if Lara ran into the bandits before she met the wolves or just now in the timeline of this chapter.

    I did think of putting in some sort of separation to make clear it was a flashback. Do you think it needs it?

    Lol true dat about the parceling out. I suffer from long bouts of zero productivity interspersed with short stretches of furious smut writing where I can pump out four or five chapter drafts in one day.

    In most of my plot heavy chapters what I try to do is drop hints at the potential sexiness that can develop from the plot. Chap36 for instance brings memory loss and mental suggestion in without much sex but I did try to stear the narrative so that audiences can immediately imagine the potential uses for smut.

    Thanks for the feedback. That's interesting you thought Lara's capture and escape felt truncated, since I felt I was maybe going too in-depth with this chapter on the whole!

    And yes, the preggo plot will have a different ending. Nothing is 100% nailed down until I've written it but it will defo be different, even if the final chapter will play out similarly.

    The next chapter of The Wolf's Snare is here.

    I think I mentioned how the next couple of chapters would be story-focused and thus I would wait until they are finished along with a smut-heavy chapter so not to PO the smut-only fans. However, I've decided that this was a dumb strategy given how long I take to finish one chapter of the WS, let alone three, so I'm returning to parceling them out one at a time.

    So, please don't take issue that this and the next chapter is lore-heavy, more wolf sex is on the way.

    If you're going to abandon A path, then at least end it in a way that we get more sex, and some plot first. Just don't leave us with Blue balls.

    I never said anything about abandoning any paths. Sorry if I implied that; I didn't mean to.

    I'm pleased to announce the next chapter is nearly done, however (did I explain this already, I forget) it and the next chapter are plot heavy so I'm going to wait until there's some smut to balance things out in order to placate everyone.

    I feel like I need to give an update even though there is not much to report. I feel really bogged down and lacking inspiration with this fic going forward.

    I have ideas for it, but they're mostly about wrapping up or extending the plot - an aspect that apparently not many people care about. I've pretty much run out of ideas for any new smutty scenarios within the given scope, especially on the non-pregnancy path. Sorry it's not better news. I am still constantly thinking of what to do next, but nothing simple nor erotic enough for my and your liking has hit me.

    In better news that may interest you, I've found inspiration elsewhere for a smut-filled girl-on-dog fic. It's an original work and I'm happy with the direction it's going in. The opening chapter is basically done, so expect something on that soon.

    Sorry for the radio silence in this thread guys. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this here already but I took a break from writing fics due to illness, work and general life crap. Upon returning, I decided to finish off my also long-in-the-making Samus Aran/ Pit fic just to cleanse my palate. So, that exists if anyone here cares to check that out.

    My once again my too ambitious plans for Wolf's Snare haven't exactly inspired me to get back to it. However, I have what I think will be the last three chapters planned and have begun writing the first of those. The second is mostly for plot so I wanted to sandwich that between two that are pretty much just smut to maintain a good balance.

    I've got no ETA for you as usual, but the next chapter is now my top priority in terms of fics. I am now doing less hours for work each week so that will probably help me be a bit snappier. Stay tuned.

    Why the hell would Samus settle for Pit when she could have Palutena?

    First review for a while and of course it's a thoughtless and negative one.

    God forbid we have a fan-fiction that depicts Samus as A) heterosexual and B) into younger guys. Why the HELL would anyone go in that direction? Pfffft.

    Why bitch and whine like this? I never promised a SamusxPalutena pairing going in, why would someone expect that? If you want to see that coupling, go find a fic about that or request one!

    I hope everyone else is enjoying it for what it is, not what it never promised to be.

    Hey all,

    I'm bringing Samus' Heavenly Bounty back for another chapter and I wanted to get some opinions on something.

    The next part will feature some roleplay, with Samus, of course, in the dominant position. I'm considering adding some pegging, but it's not something I've written before nor seen the appeal of. However, it was suggested in one of the reviews and it seems to make sense here, allowing Samus to show even more dominance and to differentiate itself from previous chapters.

    What do you think? Would you like to see that? Ideally, I'd like to hear both male and female opinions on this one.

    Note, that this counts as both the path A and B versions. I saw no reason to mention the pregnancies nor post the exact same text twice for this chapter. Hopefully you have been using some of your imagination while reading so just continue to infer that they're pregnant at all times if you're a path 'Ber'. Hope that makes sense.

    Minor gripe: Stop repeatedly using the phrase "From that moment forth" or "From that moment forward" It's been used on at least three occasions and I feel that it's a little dull. Perhaps a rephrased version. Story is still great though.

    Noted, I will look for that and reword if there are too many. Thanks for the feedback.

    FYI everyone, I am still working on this story but I'm finding it hard to get up the spirit to write anything outside of work. I will keep you apprised.

    Really, you would not believe the number of eulogies, and political speeches I'm asked to write... by the loosing side.

    Just kidding.

    I will again say you have great talent, and a well intentioned, well earned army of admirers.

    As far as the trolls who have no bollocks, or any real talent to bring to bear in defense of their impotent bashing? Don't bother with them at all. A wise man tosses fresh piles of shite on a barren field, doesn't respond to their noxious stench by engaging them in conversation. Let their stink fill the air till it fades... it'll hurt them more if you ignore them.

    Keep the wolves happy; both the ones reading Lara, and the ones reeming Lara.

    For those who have no idea what it is to write these osrts of stories, let me help educate you. Most writers start these stories as one-shots, with no desire to take them further, and no idea where to go. When an author asks for input it isn't because they are lazy, or taking the 'easy way out,' it is because they have no idea what the readers who asked for the fic to go beyond that first chapter want.

    S is just trying to figure out what those who wanted him to continue want to read him write. As for as the double chapters that rad so close to one another... the man has said it too many times, so let me, "For those wanting to read a story of Lara being pregnant, read the chapters marked 'B'." He has done all he needs to regarding his responsability to the readers wanting either one or the other. If you want both? read both... don't bitch about how he does it.

    If you want it to differ significantly, try this: Have Lara give birth to her litter, and tend them. Honestly, that is the only time this should differ.

    Let me say to you 'S', Great job so far, and let it roll off if someone wants to piss on your work. You have huge brass nadgers to even write this, and great talent. I say this, and your Lara would agree: "This is the dogs."
