First of all let me say I like the new interface. Despite the trouble above it is more intuitive than the old one is and now that I have done it once I know what to expect on posting a new story I should have no further trouble. I also like being able to fix the story info myself. I’m sure you’re glad of that. One complaint I have is the timeout in the story editing screen. I’m fixing a bunch of stuff I’ve spotted and really get into it, an hour has passed, and when I click to save it, I’ve been logged out and all the work is lost. 😕 When I remember I get all paranoid and save every fifteen minutes but I don’t always remember.

… Both of them. Due to depression over current events and illness I have not even completed the first draft of the next installment in my Avatar Tales series. To show I’m still alive I did dust off and polish an original work I wrote long ago then posted it in the Originals section of the archives. The Virgin and the Unicorn https://original.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600110700 I have not dropped the series, just not been able to make the creative narrative flow. In it Suki utilizes Ty Lee to prove to Sokka she’s okay if he pokes another pussy.

Hot damn, it worked. I did those steps yesterday – it made the most sense – but I swear the add chapters section did not show up. I was expecting it there because the add or edit chapters links show up there when I was editing the stories I’d already entered. I don’t recall seeing the story created successfully! notice at the top of the page; perhaps there was some sort of glitch. When I was testing things I was not filling out the fields so I assume the software was refusing to create the story without important stuff – like the title.

On entering the Originals story manager I do see the + Add New Story button. Since this is my first original it works, along with the larger Create Your First Story at the bottom to bring up the story entry screen. There I can name the story, choose the category, etc. Is this where the + sign is supposed to be? Because there is none. As the screen shot in the OP shows there is no field at the bottom to enter the text of the story. There is a Create Story button at the bottom but it seems to be the one to use to put the story into the archive, the same as Update Story when editing an existing story.

Since the update I’ve been going through the stories I already had on the site repairing the slight borking they received. This morning I tried adding a story in the Originals section of the archive and found no place to put in the story’s text. In the Story Manager from the top I see fields to enter the story title and description, the category and content rating, the check boxes for the tags and the field for a disclaimer, story visibility (a new one) and the chapter permissions with the co-author fields, and the optional forum links. At the bottom is a Create Story button instead of Update Story as in the screen for editing a story but clicking on it does nothing. There is no chapter list – no surprise there – but neither is there an Add Chapter button. I’ve tried using both Edge and Firefox to make sure it is not a browser issue but both are the same. What do I do to open the box where I can paste in my story?

How do you know that someone big company has already stolen from you

Lately on YouTube my partner has been finding “audio books” of Harry Potter crossovers like “What if Harry had been adopted by the Addams Family?” and I’m wondering how they haven’t been yanked down yet. I realize Rowling is controversial (at best) in the erotic community but even she doesn’t deserve her IP diluted like this. At best it is text-to-voice sloppy with rotating AI-generated illustrations that have nothing to do with what’s being heard at the moment. I suspect the text is AI-generated as well, the word-choice being very poor, never mind the pacing and plotting. I’m surprised Rowling, her agent, or Scholastic Books isn’t on the lookout for this sort of stuff.
