Sorry for the long wait everyone! Work has been kicking my butt recently but I have the newest chapter up and ready to go! Unfortunately, this will be the last chapter I will be able to post for a little while as they are sending me out again. Never fear, though! I will be working on new chapters while I am out to sea and they will be up when I return! It should not be as long as last time so here’s hoping! Hey everyone! So, I know it’s been a while and I apologize for that, but Chapter 160 is finally up! Unfortunately, it’s that time of the career again and this will be the last chapter that I will be posting for a while. However! There is good news in this, as this will be the LAST time that I go out to sea! Once I’m back, I’m back for good. Should not have to worry about any more long delays, barring vacations and life. But yes, this will be the last chapter posted until I return, though I promise to be working hard while I’m out to bring you more! I’ll miss you all and shall be back as soon as I can. Hey everyone! So, just letting you all know that the next chapter might take just a little bit longer. Finally got the chance to go on vacation to see my family, so taking some time for that. Oh, also, I just got engaged! Wedding will still be a while off yet but been having a good few days so just wanted to keep you all informed on where the story is and that I’m working hard to keep it going so you're not waiting too long!

@wetwilly17I apologize for taking so long to respond to you! I just now checked the forum again and saw your comment about the old ‘Reality Checks’. I admit, I do miss them a bit. What I found, though, was that when Jack moved into college, so much of it was based off of real people and real things that I did that to do a Reality Check would require a post on here almost as long as the chapter! It would almost be easier to do an UnReality Check for the things that didn’t happen. For example, I didn’t break up with my girlfriend because of an accident, the accident I was in didn’t happen between my sophomore year and junior year, and I’ve switched around the order of plays that I auditioned for/was in. Perhaps I will bring them back again when Jack is out of college and I can perhaps get him into a situation where I am only tangentially living through him, rather than funneling so much of my life into it. But thank you so much for mentioning them. It’s nice to know that they are not completely forgotten

Hey everyone! I am so so so sorry about the long wait! Believe me, I was waiting on pins and needles to get back for many, many reasons, not the least of which was the fact that I left you all somewhat hanging! Which, I suppose, happens with a story like this, but I never like that fact. However! I have returned and am safe and healthy and, not the least, I have something that hopefully makes up for it: five new chapters! Would have liked to have more but work and everything. I shall be returning to writing soon once I’ve gotten myself settled back on land, but hope you enjoy the other chapters in the meantime! I’ve missed you all!
