Update time! New chapter will definitely be up this weekend Also, no sex this time. Plenty of flirting and teasing but no sex. As someone mentioned a little bit ago, there's really no need for me to keep putting sex scenes into the chapters, especially if I'm just doing it to have them. I've started to realize that I have a lot more freedom here than on xnxx with writing, i.e. a story can just be a story, with the occasional erotic scene. Honestly, it's kind of liberating. Don't worry, I have plenty of plans for stuff coming up, but that's the way it's standing now. And I should also mention this is kind of a 'break' chapter, as in there's not a whole lot of plot development. Basically, it's just Jack and the gang relaxing and taking a moment to breathe. I need it and they need it. Plenty to come but this will be a fairly light chapter in terms of story but it's what I think they need right now. The saga proper will begin the next chapter and even then, since it'll be the Summer Saga, major plot isn't going to be a huge focus, but there will be plenty going on. See you guys soon

@Guest_brokenforever She still wears them. I've just stopped mentioning them as much. Also, almost finished hopefully, should be up by this weekend
-
@JohnnyBanana I'm so glad to hear that. My prayers and my wife's prayers are still with you and your family If everyone reading this forum can shoot some support and prayers to Johnny and Chester, that would be fantastic. Help them through this tough time and let them know we support them.
-
Hey everyone! First of all, Chester57...I'm sorry for all your difficulties and I wish you a speedy recovery. Would that the dollar amount of the points I see at the bottom of my posts were real and I'd shoot some over to you to help with bills and such. Sorry, man. Halfway though Chapter 29. This one's gonna be a low-key chapter, just kinda of a nice, relaxing chapter with Jack and everyone to recover from the events of the last saga and transition into the rest of the current one. Won't say whether or not the rest of the saga is gonna be as relaxing but it will certainly be shorter than the other ones (maybe only four or five chapters). Subject to change, of course, but that's the plan for now. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and I'll hopefully be getting the next chapter up soon.

A very Happy Easter to everyone Wherever you are and whoever you celebrate it with, I hope you have a good day.

Hey guys! Reality Check time: - The 'Seussical' sequence is pretty much how I remembered it when I saw it my Sophomore year, though I went with my girlfriend at the time. No, that says nothing about the relationship between Jack and Sam, I just wanted Sam there so he and Jack could have their talk. - Running the mile in muggy, ungodly weather is exactly how I remember it. Years later, I still shudder at the thought. - Had to have a chat like Jack had with Nick with a few guys. Not just guys who harassed my wife but guys who harassed my female friends. Never seemed to be in short supply. - All the classes Jack chose were the same ones I chose for my Junior year. - My parents often threatened to lock my brother and I in our bedroom until we learned to get along. - I got my PS3 in college but more than once I bumped into my dad carrying away my PS2 for some sin or other. Always had that 'I'm doing this for your own good' look on his face. I've seen some comments about how 'selfish' or 'annoying' Jack was in this last chapter. All I can say is...please don't judge him too harshly. Trust me, after my friend committed suicide, I was much the same way. In fact, I was worse. I constantly was all up in my friends' business, trying to make sure they were happy and not thinking suicidal thoughts. They weren't but I continuously checked to see whether they were or not. And if a couple I knew was having trouble...let's just say I had more than one person say, "Joe, I love you, but back off." Eventually I started to calm down and accept things but it was quite a while. So, yeah, this whole Saga's been pretty emotional (coming right off the heels of the Tara Saga, just as emotional) so I'm feeling just a tad drained. Don't worry, I've already started the next chapter, first in the Summer Saga, which I promise is going to be a bit lighter and more...not necessarily carefree but relaxing. I need it and I think the characters need it. Not to say there won't be emotions and stuff in the upcoming chapters but it's not going to be the dangling-over-the-precipice level of 'feels' that these past couple of Sagas have been. I think we've all earned a bit of a breather. See you soon!

Chapter 28 is finally, at long last, up. Wow...this was a draining one. Not just because it's the longest chapter I ever wrote (87 pages) but because it culminates pretty much everything that the story has been driving towards not just for this Saga but from the beginning of the story. Once I had completed it, I went back and read Chapter 1 again, basically saying, "Wow...and look where we are now." I was planning on taking a small sabbatical after this chapter, just to recover, but I realized that the best way to recover from something so emotional and draining was...to keep pressing on. I'll probably take a few days off before starting the next chapter but I can say that it'll be a bit more happy and light that the past few have been. Won't spoil anything but it's not going to be anywhere near as heavy. Thank you all so much for your support and kindness through this process. Reading your posts, whether of support or comment, have been a huge boost to my spirits and a major driving force to keep my going. I can honestly say I wouldn't enjoy this anywhere near as much without you guys. You're the best readers an author could have and your loyalty and kindness inspire me to keep going, whether I'm writing a cheerful or a sad chapter. Thank you for the continued support, hope you enjoy this chapter, and I hope it was worth the wait. Reality Check to follow. See you all in the next Saga: the Summer Saga.

Hey guys! So, I'm gonna try and get the chapter finished up by tonight and then do the editing tomorrow. If all goes well, it should be up by tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then Tuesday for certain. Sorry this one took me a little longer than normal but...well, it's a bit longer than normal and involves stuff that I really needed to sit and think about for a while to make sure I wasn't cheapening the effect. Hopefully, it'll be worth the extra wait.

Hey guys! So, i'm finally starting the last 'section' of the chapter. Now, this can mean one of two things: 1) Since I know basically what's going to happen, I may be able to breeze right through it in a couple of days. 2) Since this is the part where everything with Jack, the twins, and their parents comes to a head, it may be a little more complex (and emotional) for me, meaning it may take me a little longer, especially if I surprise myself. Regardless, Chapter 28 should be out in the next few days, I'm just not exactly sure when yet. Sunday would be my ideal day but we will have to see. Thank you guys so much for your patience and I will have a definite date soon.

@guest_dark Have not had the chance to play it yet. It's on my to-play list

Hey guys! So, checking on the story boards, I noted that we've hit a marker. She is the One officially has reached 200000 views! Wow! Can't believe it got there as quickly as it did. And you know what? It's all because of readers like you, readers who support and encourage and critique and suggest and analyze and basically do everything to make my work so much more rewarding and fulfilling. You guys seriously are the best readers and followers an author could ask for and I promise I will continue to do my best so future chapters can be just as good
-
@guest_hello Favorite SNES game...hmmm...well, I was a big fan of Link to the Past and Super Metroid. I also really liked Final Fantasy VI (even though it has HUGE problems and is nowhere near the best in the series) and Super Castlevania IV. But if I had to choose a favorite...it would probably be Chrono Trigger, which expanded into the even greater Chrono Cross on PS1.
-
@guest_dark_ I do. I guess it all depends on what 'favorite' means. If it means the boss I find the most fun to fight, then probably Four Kings. If you mean which one do I think is the best, then I'm gonna be boring and say Ornstein and Smough.

Hey everyone! Halfway point! Now, just to clarify, when I say halfway point, I'm talking more in terms of events that have happened so far in the chapter. For example, it's looking like this chapter may run close to 100 pages. Now, that's not to say I'm currently at 50 pages, but more than I'm at the point in the events that will happen where half of them that I want to relate are finished. Basically, those sections I separate by those bars. So I'm currently at the point where half those events are done...just not the big one. Yeah, this chapter is going to, one way or another, pretty much wrap up the whole Alan and Amanda thing. Won't give away how it turns out but I hope it'll be worth the wait.

Hey guys! Reality Check time for Chapter 27: - Jack's conversation with Amanda about Sam and his skepticism about her choice of boyfriend (and her subsequent blowup at him) mirrors a conversation I witnessed between a couple of my friends, who happened to be brother and sisters. Nothing was going on between them; the brother was just very protective. - The entire dinner with Sam is very similar to the first time I met my parents-in-law. It was just me, them, and my wife, so I had to add in some more dialogue so that Jack and Alan could participate, as well as the whole thing about baseball, but aside from that it was almost parallel. - Pasta tacos are amazing. Seriously, try them sometime. - Yet again, the scene in Theater class is almost identical to my personal experiences. - During high school, I would sometimes get so wrapped up in personal stuff that I'd neglect my friends to the point where they, like Joe, basically demanded that I hang out with them. More than once, I was all but strong-armed into it. No regrets, though; I pretty much always needed the break. That's about it for now. Working on Chapter 28 and I can already tell that it's going to be a big chapter so I will do my best to get it done quickly and have it out in a timely manner. Hope everyone is doing well and I'll update again soon!

Chapter 27 is up! Only one more chapter left in the Twins Saga! Jeez, this one's been kinda an emotional roller coaster for me. Maybe not as much as the Tara Saga but still... Hope you all enjoy and I'll see you soon for the Reality Check and updates on Chapter 28!
-
Congratulations YNP_Refugee for the 1000th comment!!!! I wish I had more of a reward than that but in a few hours, I'll have the next chapter up so hopefully that will suffice
-
Gonna have a Sunday surprise for you all Wait...just kinda spoiled the surprise...well, check back tomorrow anyway

Hey everyone! Work on the next chapter is going well. I'm trying to get it up in the next couple days, hopefully by Monday at the latest. Just a quick heads-up: this may be another no-sex chapter. If I can work it in somehow, I will, but I don't want to include it just for the sake of including it. If it fits into what's going on, then great. Otherwise, it's gonna be mostly about character and set-up for the final chapter in the saga. Hopefully it'll all be worth the wait but just wanted to let you all know in case there was some confusion as to why there was no sex in this next chapter. See you all soon!
-
Hey everyone! Next chapter is halfway done! And sorry for the false excitement about BashfulScribe's next chapter. Trust me, I zipped over faster than anyone to check and, yeah, it was kinda disappointing. I chatted with him a bit and he was rather amused by it. He also says he's been working on it a bit so, hopefully, we should see it soon. In related news, a new chapter of An Incest Birthday is up on sexstories.com and very, very worth it. Check that out if you want something to read in the meantime. See you all soon!

Hey everyone! First of all, I wanna send a special message to JohnnyBanana: I'm glad the news isn't as bad as it could be. I hope the news continues to hold out well and you're still in our prayers. And a special thank-you to everyone else who supported him. This is an awesome community of people and I'm glad that, in my own little way, I can help keep everyone together. Now onto the Reality Check: - For Kayla's reaction, I asked my wife how she would react if she got similar news. I have never actually done anything like that but she and I sat down for a while and hashed out how the emotions would play out. - I did have a buddy in high school who was rather unpopular for a while who decided to run for Student Council. We managed to convince him to hold off for a year to repair his reputation. I won't reveal how it turned out as that would fall under the classification of SPOILERS. - Jack and Kayla's critique from Ms. Locke is identical to many that I got in high school. I'd like to think my teacher was trying to push us but, honestly, I never felt like it was doing much more than pissing me off. - My brother and I fought a few times growing up and the fight between Alan and Jack is a fairly close representation of how they all went down. That's about it. Minor bits and pieces are based on real life as well, but none really worth mentioning. Have started work on Chapter 27 and hopefully it'll go by quickly. Hope everyone is doing well and I'll message soon with progress updates!

Chapter 26 is up Hope everyone enjoys. On a more somber note, everyone please keep JohnnyBanana's father in your prayers. His family has just received some bad news and I'm sure they could use the support right now. He's been a faithful and wonderful part of the forum and I hope things take a turn for the better soon. Only two more chapters left in the Twins Saga. Boy, this one is sure zipping by fast, huh? It seems like two weeks is the new consistent gap between chapters, but I don't want to commit to that, especially since doing so in the past has kind of backfired. It's working for now and I hope it continues to work. Reality Check to come soon. Hope everyone enjoys reading, hope it was worth the wait, and I'll see you all in Chapter 27
-
@JohnnyBanana I am so, so sorry to hear about that. My prayers and my wife's prayers are with you and your family. I hope everything turns out well and that they are able to stop it quickly. I wish there was more I could do but your family is in our prayers. Also...new chapter tomorrow
-
Halfway done with a clear shot through to the ending. Hopefully I'll have it up by this weekend fingers crossed

Hey everyone! Reality Check time for Chapters 24 and 25! - Mr. Harrison's grabbing of Jack's neck and words of warning are very similar to how my dad used to keep me in line. - There was a nice, long, boring stretch of high school P.E. where we played nothing bad badminton until we basically revolted and forced the teacher to let us do something different. - Jack's choosing of a play with Kayla was something I did in Theater Class. - Jack's audition is, word-for-word and emotion-for-emotion, exactly how my audition for Seussical went my Sophomore year. - My friends whom Alan and Amanda are based on had a very similar conversation with their dad that Jack has. He used similar reasoning to Mr. Harrison but could not exactly back it up as strongly. Their dad is now...not exactly okay with the relationship but at least tolerant of it (this is not spoilers for later in the story; I have not exactly decided how the saga is going to end) - Jack and Kayla's conversation with Becca is based on a conversation I had with the girlfriend of one of my more sensitive friends, after I had made him feel...let's say depressed (it was with a comment on something I didn't know about and he forgave me; her, not so quickly) - Jack and Kayla's Valentine's Day date was based on a date I had with my wife on Valentine's Day. - The douchebag I knew in high school that Craig was based on (whom I, to my regret, never exactly gave a chance to) also wanted to run for Class President but couldn't even get his name in for consideration. He was that unpopular. Well, that's about all for now. Work on Chapter 26 is coming along well and, unless there is a drastic change, it looks like Chapter 28 may be the end of the saga. And I wanted to send a big thank-you to all the fans, who have been nothing but supportive and (based on the comments) highly entertaining with their theories on where the story is going. I can only hope the actual product lives up to expectations. And it never fails to strike me with a certain level of pride that...well, you don't discuss the characters as if they are characters in a story. You discuss them as if they were actual people, rather than lines on a page that I made up. I don't think there's much greater praise for an author than to know his work is given life by the readers. So thank you all for the vote of confidence and I will continue to do my best to live up to your loyalty.
