Sometimes Max has to put the brakes on Amy for the overall good of the family. Amy's are more fum BUT Max should be astute enough to know that the safety of the family has to come first so that they don't get shut down entirely.

It's just a game of nerves. I sometimes think some of the writers here have stock in nerve/ulcer medicine plants.
Many of us keep bugging authors of "works in progress". Just shows them that their work is appreciated.

Maybe time to pull back from international exploits and focus more on the sex trade here in the U.S.? Leaving a few bad guys dead in some of the larger cities probably wouldn't even make the local papers. (Dog bites man not news - man bites dog is). Hummmmm.

yea I know what you mean I do the same thing but when it gets Christmas you don't know what to get them
my problem is when I see somethng one of them would like during the year, I buy it and give it to them, so when xmas comes they already have what would have been a great gift can't help it, I like seeing them smile!

Or maybe I go in a whole new direction like Alice really does wish to be the computer overlord and she, Along with Jeeves, The professor (albert) and legion are potting to take over the world - but first they need Max out of the way! So they feed info to his enemies in the hope that they take him out!

Thanks for the nice chapter. Not wishing you any bad luck but you writing while on meds does seem to have some beneficial effects. Really good not to have a "hanger". Keep it going.

Passed the exam with flying colors
now time to get back to writing. I have a LOT of time to make up for lolCongratulations, now before you start writing take a little down time first.
Way to go on exam. Agree with angeldust BUT maybe your writing IS your downtime. Tests that have serious consequences of not passed can be very stressful.
Get you head and nerves together first. Then give the keyboard hell !! your fans are waiting.

I too was lucky to find some one who loved me unconditionally unfortunately for her. It has been 8 yrs today that she left me and I know she didn't want to go, we miss her everyday. Always remember to tell those that you love "I Love You." every chance you get because at any moment that ability can be snapped away in the twinkle of an eye.
That not only includes lovers/wives but parents also.
My condolences on your loss.

Well hope you have a speedy recovery and please listen to your medical and your family members. I had to retire when I not only broke my ankle but both knees jumping out if a perfectly good airplane. I was going to fight the force medical retirement but my wife said she could not live without me. After she put up with me leaving without telling her she said enough is enough and I listened to her. Been the best thing I did for both her and me. I still work for the government buy no more jumping.

OK another hanger. Hope the blast from the spider doesn't get the good guys also. Maybe the spider went to the side instead of being directly behind the car. Max would probably like to talk to this soon to be ex sheriff.

I think I mentioned one of the "new folks" before. One or more of the "newly rescued" but I feel like Mike is now a part of the family.
Enough angst and turmoil if one or more f the new rescues gets it. Could be in another attack or an undiagnosed physical problem: heart or
brain or aneurism too massive for the pod. New rescues are not chipped and don't have nanites.

In your line of work I'm sure you have see too much of that. But we have enough sci-fi here to take it somewhat out of RW.
Depends what YOU consider "core". I think most of the "family" is now in the core.
