He DOES knit !! Haven't you seen it? Only he does it with little pointy things that travel very fast. And at the end he ties it altogether
with something that goes BOOM - sort of like a fancy bow.

Two concurrent battle scenes? Hmmm. Either one of them is a flashback involving Rick or the house is under attack again.....or maybe Nick North and friends are attacking the same bad guys for a different reason. Ah, how the mind wanders while we anxiously await.
Or maybe one is the rescue and the other is Joanne.

I agree with angeldust the battle should be next we all been waiting for it!
I agree that some of the chapters seem to be fill while he figures out exactly how he wants to approach the BIG scenes. IF he needs more time to get to the rescue having the women/girls put Joanne in her place seem to me to be almost as exciting as the real rescue. Think about it - rescuing someone from themselves !

Now that is going to be INTERESTING!! Whether in VW or RL when the women get done width her and the girls start in it should be an excellent chapter unto itself. The raid or Joanne which comes first?? The verbal fireworks or the real??

Nah too far out in my opinion. The sci-fi so far is realistic enough to make it believable. Some of it is probably already operational just not announced to the public yet.

OK Read 36. Good story as usual. Flashbacks putting some more things in perspective. BUT you seem to be dancing around the main topic the rescue. Not yhe first time! Npt a cliffhanger just makes "us" want to rattle your chain for more.

They'd have never let me go sniper, actually got scolded by my doctor; evidently I'm not healed up enough to be stupid.
I think I did pretty well.I have no idea what I'm gonna do with this kid, but I just couldn't leave her with those assholes that pass for the authorities in that shit hole and she didn't have any family...and bringing her home brought me a lot of forgiveness, course it cost me a hunk of cash too; man girls need a lot of expensive shit!

Yeah, that's easier said then done; god I swear its like trying to kick a crack habit, I get all antsy and restless when I haven't blown something up for a while. But your right, I'm getting way too old for this shit and man its amazing how outta shape a few months of taking it easy can make you.
Still, I'll probably do something stupid again...can't help it, it's in my nature.
Girls wanting/needing expensive stuff shouldn't be a surprise. IF it is time to stop messing with HE.
If not and you like making things go BOOM try contacting a local demo company. They do have jobs that can utilize that skill WITHOUT having to low crawl in and dodging small flying objects.

No, I saved the Leia explanation for back story, Rick is going to have a prominate place in book three, kinda like the twins do now, probably even more...nothing too twisty, but I feel Rick needs more of a past
Hope book 3 is a long way off - enjoying GITG too much.
That is a good lead in into book number 3. Maybe it will also be explained how he joined the Marines but became a Navy Seal. The only way to do that is to get out of the Marines and exlist in the Navy. Seals are Navy personnel only. Also maybe Rick and Nick met up in the past and this way Rick can recontact Nick to help Max and him with the Slavers/abusers. Only a hint. But I like the way that you throw items oout there for us to discuss and then either you use them or coimpletely blow us away by coming out of left field with a angle we never would have thought of.
That is way you are the great writer and we just wait to see what other bait you dangle in front of us with the next chapters.
Keep up the great work. See you. Alsao have fun with the newbies in your classes. Do not huirt them to much.

I will explain for those who do not know. An LZ is a landing Zone and a hot one is one that you are being shot at while trying to land or take off. It is really very hairy if you have not been through one and I was through at least two or three. Not a fun thing to go throough..

He has one of them that will post on a site but he says she doesn't write - at least not yet.

Just because the readers have little to nothing to do but pester an author for chapters does not mean that the author does not have obligations away from writing.... GET OFF BEGGING FOR NEW CHAPTERS!!!!!!!! Magus has explained more than once the reason for the delays in putting up new chapters.. ie, computer died, then family all over for the holiday. If you can't understand that, start writing yourself, let the man enjoy the time with his family, and when the chapter is posted, it will be posted. His world does not revolve around us wanting a chapter.
Totally agree BUT if we don't keep after him he'll think "we" lost interest. I think the fact that multiple keep after him tells him that he has a reader base of interested folks.

Why use the crowbar, relax and enjoy them.
I wish that I had nieces of that nature to suffer with.
Because they cramp his writing. Young ones are loveable BUT as you age a little goes a long way.

If memory serves you said a double cliffhanger. You delivered ! How many pods do they have with them? Thinning the heard with Evan?
Shouldn't the nanites be able to coagulate the blood from the bullet wounds?
Of course "we" will have to pester the H out of you for the next one.
By the way there is no such thing as too long a chapter! Too short yes - too long NO.
