Going into Hans' brain seemed like something out of "It's a Wonderful Life" or, at least, "It's a Wonderfully Tragic Life" but hey, it IS Christmas! GREAT chapter!!!
-
Looks like Max's reputation precedes him. Also looks like another crooked sheriff or perhaps, like Hans, he too has been brainwashed. Seeing as going for his gun is an act of aggression, I'd be very surprised if the spider didn't cut him down unless, of course, Max told it not to. Hoping Mike or Rick doesn't get shot. BTW, LOVE the nod to Mr. Burns. Don't know if that was for my benefit but it was a great just the same.

Sheesh. I have such a love/hate relationship with your cliffhangers. You really are a sadist!

Not a fan of this real world you speak of, which is why I come here for love and sex born out of fantasy. That said, if you lose Mike or Evan you may have to bring Leah or Jenna into the harem. Also, Leah would be devastated and that would affect Rick negatively. BOTH Jenna and Evan would be hard to see but cleaner for the storyline. Becca would be an interesting choice because it would affect the entire family and would give everyone a chance to go through some serious emotions but saving her, only to lose her later, would really suck. Tough decisions ahead but I still hate losing good guys.

Max walks naked into the Living Room with "Little Max" standing at "ten hut" and yawns and says, "I'm kinda tired. I think I'll go lay down for a bit. Anyone care to join me?" The entire time "Little Max" is beckoning to the girls, waving at them to "come hither". Or something like that....

HFS!!! That cliffhanger was truly evil. I rarely yell/curse out loud when I encounter one but I did this time. FANTASTIC chapter. Even the start was brilliant, showing that the teens didn't have a monopoly on drama.

Quite an ending for Chapter 19. Can't wait to read the next installment. Hope it comes soon. Dying to know what happens.

Glad to see you here. I am a huge fan of the story, having read it on the other site and look forward to you continuing it here. I'm sorry you had to go through all that BS but I'm VERY glad you've found a new home.

A Bondesque one-liner? I LOVE it!

I just assumed the funeral was gonna be for the Sheriff. If it turns out to be one of the friends, I hope it's done heroically, like saving Max or the twins. Nothing like a good, old-fashioned tearjerker chapter. I know how Magus loves to mess with our emotions.

How about Mike? Then throw us a cliffhanger as to whether Leah joins Max's harem or gets a little "Daddy time" with Rick.

I think the handling of Petra was very tasteful and loving and done just right. The only real issue I had was when Hans asked who gives this woman away and you had May say, "I do". Your attention to detail is usually impeccable so I was VERY disappointed you didn't have May say, "Her mother and I do", which is generally the correct response for American weddings and would have acknowledged Marge as well. Not sure why but that was a sticking point with me. Maybe it's just because I'm a bit of a traditionalist. Other than that it was an excellent chapter that contained all of my favorite elements. It was also nice to see a little descriptive sex thrown in. While it hasn't really been necessary as of late, I have to admit I kinda missed it. As Rescue25 said, this chapter still leaves you wanting more without being a cliffhanger. Well done!

NOOOOOO....the longer the chapter, the better!

Kinda hoping the funeral will be for the Sheriff. Just hoping his replacement is more of a help to Max than a hindrance. I also hope something is done about bitchy Miss Crawford. She either needs to get laid or have Max save her life so she changes her tune. Otherwise, Rick needs to can her. While she kinda provides antagonistic comic relief, she's annoying as Hell and certainly doesn't belong in a school.
-
Seriously, a teaser commercial for the next episode? I don't think your ratings really need an extra boost. It's not like it's sweeps month or anything. Or is it? Looking forward to Max going on the gang-bangers!
-
Max did ask if the twins had their "toys". Certainly hoping they're not packing in school. Even if they decided to come to Max's rescue, that would get them in all kinds of trouble. Probably best to let Max handle this although I can't see how the girls would just sit back. So many scenarios. That's why I love/hate the cliffhangers! Hoping it's not too long a wait for the next one. That would just be mean.

Really LOVE these school chapters and the back-and-forth banter although you're definitely showing your age with Mr. Garrison's Sgt. Schultz impression. That was awesome! Gangs, huh? Max and Company just can't seem to stay out of trouble. This couldn't DEFINITELY get ugly. Looks like it's time to warm up the spiders and strap on the twins' Kevlar. Sounds like a bumpy ride.

Jeeves and (don't want to spoil it yet)? Sure as heck didn't see THAT coming! Makes me wonder if we're looking at some type of group wedding although honestly, I think Max and Emma deserve one of their own. Nice character-developing chapter. I think these chapters that show the family dynamic are really important to the overall story.

Not in Magusfang World, it's not. In the real world it's kinda frowned upon, unless you can get media backing. After all, the media creates public opinion and public opinion is EVERYTHING.

God, you are SUCH a sadist! And thank you for not leaving us with yet another Northstar cliffhanger. I'm guessing his "meeting" had to do with a ring, or perhaps two. Then again, I've already learned trying to guess what you have in mind is usually a waste of time.
-
"Tell her to cross her legs or something?" With all the cliffhangers lately, it's been a while since I cracked up at the END of a chapter. Great job! Even with all the action and evildoing, this appears to be a setup/transition chapter for something else, possibly something big. I definitely have to give you a big shoutout for being so prolific as of late. After the layoff that had us all a bit worried, you've been going like gangbusters lately and I, for one, appreciate you satisfying our cravings.

Ah yes,had almost forgotten about that dang-blasted Northstar cliffhanger. That was a beauty that DEFINITELY left me wanting more.
