I was never physically disciplined as a kid and am grateful for that. I tend to hold grudges against people, so imagine how I'd feel if my parents had hit me? If I had kids, I wouldn't spank them.

I have no moral objection to yaoi but find it a little annoying that there are so many fics with gay!Kenshin in them.

I started writing because I like developing characters. I've written a few novels (mostly not finished, unfortunately) as well as a continuing autobiography. I like writing stories about sexual abuse because it's taboo and interesting.

As long as they are the same age, it's appropriate for them to be young. Maybe age 11 or older, I'm thinking. When I was 11, I had a sexual obsession with a boy. Anything goes, really. That's funny about the HP zygotes.

Extreme right wingers make no sense to me. Here in the states, we have people who proudly call themselves "conservative." This is pointless because liberals always win in history. Liberals were the ones who abolished slavery and gave women the vote. These conservatives think the constitution is perfect because it justifies their desire to own guns. These people are for war but think abortion is evil. Or maybe they don't really think it's evil; perhaps they pretend to to please the Tea Partiers. Many conservatives probably couldn't care less about moral issues, but they pretend to to appeal to the religious "right".

The far right wingers are just plain insane. They believe abortion is evil but that anyone who wants to should own an assault weapon. They say they're against big government but start wars based on lies and send our soldiers to die for no good reason. They claim liberals are miserable then form the Tea Party, which is just one bitch-fest. There's no reasoning with these people. Ann Coulter is a traitor to her own gender; she says women shouldn't vote or go to college. Idiots.

I don't have much to complain about in the RK fandom. Sometimes I read fics in which post-Kyoto arc Kaoru is still violent towards Kenshin. That isn't true to the manga, only the stupid anime. They are in love in the third arc, the Revenge arc. I guess that's a minor pet peeve.

Hi, I'm the4w5neko and I'm obsessed with the manga Rurouni Kenshin. Kenshin is my favorite character ever. My avatar is him in the first RK live action movie, which is the best movie ever! I like cats (neko), astrology, anything interesting. I also like to write stories that aren't pleasant and happy, that's for sure.

I liked most of his horror novels, taking place in our real world. I liked the first four Dark Tower books, but King just got really weird in the last 3. I won't spoil the end, but it's just really weak and some characters were killed off before they should have been.

I don't understand what's wrong with this. For instance, what's so bad about having Kenshin say "de gozaru" instead of "that it is"?

I didn't know people hated Ron. I do know that the female characters in pretty much any story are treated unfairly. For instance, in Rurouni Kenshin, people hate Kaoru and Misao for having violent tempers but they love Sano and Yahiko. What?
