  1. Took us a month to raise the money to get Tim out of the morgue so the damned cremation could get done! Death is damned expensive!

  2. Wading through research materials online is such a pain in the neck! Oh well, I need to get the info right, so back to the dratted wading through websites!

have fun! I am doing that for pregnancy info for my story! Its not fun!

Sorry to take so long to respond, Kagome. I've had two kids personally. Trust me, all pregnancies are unique. So everything you learn form research can be tailored to the character on some levels. :) Good luck with your research.

  3. Was offered a commision job to write a specific fandom story. Totally not sure about this. I do know the paying party has the same control of content as the contract holder for a ghost writer job. Urk! Do I really wanna get mixed up with a new control freak?

Believe me, I have not accepted their offer. ROFL. I was simply stunned that someone was actually offering to pay me to write a fan fiction story in their place. The ghost writing contract comment was about the reality of being coerced to write a story for someone else because they are too lazy to write out their ideas on their own.

You might want to explain to them that they need to write their own fan fiction, because orange is one of those colors that looks dreadful on most people. Right after they brush up on copyright law. This is an area that is getting intense scrutiny, in the post-50 Shades flurry of notoriety that fan fiction is enjoying.

Understood, and I do know better than most what problems exist with the situation. Mostly, I was in a sarcastic mood from failing miserably at getting things like copyright across to said pigheaded individual. Hence my sarcastic "do I want to get mixed up with this control freak?" line at the end. Sorry if my self directed sarcasm did not come across clearly.

  4. Well, after venting a lot of pent up ire yeserdday, I am feeling much better. Time to get back to work now that I am not half so furious with a plethora of nonsense, and bad behavior. :)

Thanks cause I probably need it more than I realize. When grumpy I am a pain in the rump for all. :)

  5. Well, I still need to do a final grammar check but Ch 14 should be up very soon.

  6. Well, I'm certainly stunned this morning. I got a review for one of my original poems which was completely unexpected.

Doesn't that make your day? :)

Considering it was an original poem, I was taken aback by the review. Guess I never expected it to catch any attention since it is a pretty dark commentary about abusive relationships. :)

  7. Went ahead and posted through chap 41 for ALternate Tracks. I am working on revising chapter 37. Man I forgot how mental that chapter is and how much I need to condence. Hope to have the revised version posted tomorrow.

  8. Went and bought new writing software. Have it installed now. Time ot learn the new shortcut keys. **Facepalms** I hate it compatibility for older programs start pahsing the faves out of commision on purpose!

  9. When did someone else's 15 year old boy chasing after a 20 year old girl (met at my house months ago) become my fault, (unaware of the situation until last night) legally?

Aye, and I wouldn't expect it to be any other way. I'd offer some firewood, but there's nowhere to really store it in the apartment...

Did they find the prick who stole the tools?

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

No they never did, JayDee. It is not a surprise that the tools and thief were never found to the rest of us. Considering they were consecrated tools, the man's stupidity in leaving them where they could be stolen means he actually deserved to lose them.

  10. Whew, Almost finshed with chapters 15 and 16 Driven Heart. Got to get them grammar and spell checked, then posted. Hope to have it all done with and ready to roll out tomorrow.

  11. Who else in this forum has days where the muse is never satisfied with anything written? It all feels like blah, blah, slop when you read it over.

  12. Why is it, that when the world and society gets broken, everyone who even remotely knows me thinks it is my exclusive job to fix everything? Yeesh, I'm not that great at fixing things for crying out loud!

Huge bear hug back, Bronx. LOL on the vacation. Everyone always tells me I am the glue that holds them plus the damned world together so I know they appreciate me. I'm just exhausted after a year of being the most stubborn rock to ever exist on steroids. 10 deaths and the fall out has me exhausted out of my ever loving mind so I am getting whiny.

Very true, George. I just go through short periods of extreme exhaustion trying to make sure that I live up to my rep I suppose. LOL

  13. Wish I did not have so many problems writing sex scenes. Trying to phrase things so it fits the mental image is making me nuts!

Then write the way YOU want to write, not the way others expect you to write. Writers should always please themselves first before they please others.

Write it how it feels right to you. I know folks will be disappointed in the sex scene for my big project, but frankly I couldn't give a damn. It's awkward and clumsy and tender, just like it's supposed to be, and I couldn't be happier with it. :D

    4. Kurahieiritr

      Kurahieiritr

Grins. I have written some clumsy scenes that conveyed the newness and the emotions well. However, in doing so, I unwittingly made the sex really hot, or so I have been told. ROFL. No worries, I will get through this sooner or later. Just have to get satisfied with it, the hardest part of writing in my case.

  14. Wish the blasted headache straight out of hell would go away. At least I am finally getting the new cooler installed today. Day three of being sidetracks and worthless for revising here we go. :(

  15. Wondering if I'll get Ch 13 Driven Heart completed for revise today. Got interupted yesterday, but was a good thing.

  16. Worked hard on helping Ryan get a chapter edited today. So much passive prose makes my brain fry. If her story wasn't so good at the core, I'd rip my hair out.

  17. Working on Driven Heart Ch. 15. Luckily most of the shortcut keys are familiar once I rest the program to function like the older version. Takumi's P.O.V. is flowing easily from my finger tips also. It will be an interesting chapter once I get the feel for the nuances of the new program.

  18. Working with one of the kids who had a miscarriage, adn dealing with funeral situation for an old friend who lost his battle with colon cancer last week. This year has got to get better soon or I am going to rip out my gray streaked red hair from all the ongoing hard core stress!

Agreed, Bronx. Last time I saw so much chaos was in 2001. I lost a dozen family members that year, most during the infamous Oklahoma City bombing. I've got multiple friends/family facing horrific situations. I'm tied up in multiple messenger/email/phone conversations every single day. Was elected by Granma Nancy Carol to matriarch status on her death bed a few years back. Is a very heavy burden suddenly.

Take care of yourself, too. Is there anyone you can delegate one problem to?

Dale was my backup, and he died a few days ago. I got hit with everyone he was trying to field for me, plus playing peacekeeper for his funeral arrangements. Between the crazy psycho religious mother, an ex wife from hell, his clingy sister, plus current lover, I have been trapped without end online and on the phone at the same time. His funeral will be tomorrow.

  19. would love to take a vacation from the real world. Too bad that is not realistic. I could really use the relaxation..

Thanks guys. Most of my need of a vacation is for real world craziness. This has been a really rotten year for me.

  20. Yeesh, Prequels are such a pain in the ass to write after the main story is set in stone.Halfway through A Rivarly Revealed and already seeing that Driven Heart is skating hard on screwing up the rest of the series. Putting on the thinking cap!

  21. Yule's coming up so it is time start working on this year's beaded ornaments. Clouds have made it cooler outside so I can get some beading done for a couple hours.
