Arg! The "Real World" is a royal pain in my ass!!! Wish it would go on vacation for about 2 weeks so I could get my writing back on track!
-
As I shall be insanely busy tomorrow with temple/grove festivities, I wanted to say a huge Happy Yule to all who celebrate it. I hope everyone has a beautiful celebration with their covens, groves, temples, and family. Blessed be to all!
-
Awoke so very tired and outright yuck feeling today. Not certain if it's the intense 107 degree heat yesterday or something else.
-
Been a busy couple days and the plot bunnies are still obsessed witht he mission they gave me to type it out. Seems I'm doing okay with dipping my toes in a sword and sorcery type tale. Did not expect that at all.
-
::squeaks happily:: Sword and sorcery!
-
Yeah I started a Fairy Tail Fan fiction for a couple of my gal pals who had to have surgery this month. One had polyps removed last week. The other other is having 3 types of knee surgery throughout this month. Both need amusements while stuck in bed so they asked me for a magic flinging story. ROFL.

Been a cray couple of weeks, but I get to go in to get new glasses so I can see again. One good thing has come of the constant chaos I call family life.
-
New glasses are always a good thing. When we thaw out here, I'm going for a pair myself.
-
I am in shock at how much detail I can see now that I have mine. I had to go with two pairs so I have a work pair and everyday ones. It's nice to be able to read smaller print again. I was so blind I had to oversize everything times 20 on my computer so could not enjoy normal books any longer. I'm going crazy catching up on my paperbacks now.

-
Been a while since I could pop in and say hello. Sorry about the long term hiatus. Real life is crazy.
-
::hugs:: Just be sure to take care of YOU, too!
-
"Life? Don't talk to me about life..." Seriously, hope things are improving at your end.
-
Thanks guys for thinking of me. My 24 year old son is a wreck and a half since he found his father dead several days after the fact. It is very hard to handle his blinding rage fits, and the pathologically lying girlfriend from hell that he saddled himself with for some strange reason. Been a very rough few months with cleaning up the disaster left in my Ex's suicides wake.

Been a while since I have had a chance to stop by and say hello. Waves to everyone I know. Hi Guys! Hope everyone is doing well!
-
Busy with helping several kids and trying to find a new place simultaneously. I swear people have gone completely insane so far this year.
-
Ch 14 is partially written. Sadly, I now have a migraine starting and can't think straight. Oh well, I will finihs the raw soon s head stops pounding.
-
Chapters for Alternate Tracks through 33 are now posted. Hoping to get 34 revised and up by evening. Kind of sad that it may be tomorrow before it is posted. I want to get this story tagged complete again darnitol!
-
Chapters for both in works stories are coming along. Still contemplating how to put the one scene together so that it has the right impact. I think it will be one of my best ones once I get it ready to put up.
-
Contemplating the next stage of my fanfiction saga's ongoing evolution. Working on two stories simultaneously is a pain.
-
Corporate America seems determined to prove exactly how crooked and corrupt and dishonest it can get. The insurance company is trying to get out of replacing anything that was stolen.
-
Disaster after disaster has been the theme for 2015. Another death that struck the family in time for thanksgiving with all the trappings of nightmare involved. Still in the cleanup phase for this latest mess.
-
Doing a happy dance. The hard yardwork is done! I got a lot of the gazebo/artwork station cleaned up yesterday. I am in the home stretch now! Might even build a fire tonight and cook outside after it cools down. Hip Hip Hoozah!
-
yardwork is never done....just ask my yard...
-
Living in the desert makes yard work easier since there aren't many plants. The biggest problem is the goat head sticker plants that keep getting a toe hold in the fence line. They are the most tenacious plants I have ever seen. I don't have a lawn to mow or anything like that, just the meanest sticker plants and cactus imaginable to keep in check.

Every time I think life has reached the highest pinnacle of insanity, and can't get any crazier, it proves me wrong of late!
-
Fed up with being stuck on a scene so I removed the part not working and have got back to writing. I figure I can use the stymied work as flashback materials. Never waste if I can help it.
-
Feeling so much better now that my brain is firing on all cylinders again! Time to get back to work.
-
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Pace yourself, m'dear, and don't push yourself into a migraine.
-
Aw, well, this last episode wasn't a simple multi-day migraine. I have a medical problem that without warning loves to announce itself by haunting me for a couple days. LOL. No worries since pushing myself is the reason I have beaten the odds for so long.

Figured I would share another great blog linkt hat made me smile. The blog is about writing sex scenes. http://terribleminds.com/ramble/2013/04/30/25-humpalicious-steps-for-writing-your-first-sex-scene-by-delilah-s-dawson-author-of-wicked-as-she-wants/

Hehe, glad you liked it. I love http://terribleminds.com blogs because they add humor while keeping everything very realistic. # 14 was my fave of the listing because of the truth involved. The fact it is okay if the pair does not have simultaneous orgasm was mentioned was a relief for me as a writer. I actually thought double bust was required writing, but now found that it need not be so plastic world after all. #3 was another fave because it has a lot of truth also. IF you don't get...
-
Oh, gods, that was utterly perfect! I've bookmarked that, and I will read it faithfully, and hug it, and squeeze it, and name it George...
-
I love this specific blog site because of the humor in many of the articles. I have seen several great tongue in cheek blogs at terrible minds site. When I am down, it always makes me grin to read the blogged tidbits offered. I'm glad you liked this one so much.

Figured out the new program features, so have done an edit on chapters 14 through 16 and got them all posted/replaced. Have begun writing chapter 17 of Driven Heart today also. Such a busy beaver day!
-
new program features?
-
Yep, this new writing program has a few extras with the grammar styles, personal dictionary/word additions, and the quick corrects than the old program I was using so I had to figure out those features. It was not a big deal, just took a couple days of hands on to get the hang of them.

Finally back to revising old chapters. Got Alternate Tracks 34, and 35 up on the site. I am so relieved to get back to writing and revising.
-
Finally can say that I have been enjoying a quiet couple of weeks at the moment. Hope it continues for a while longer.

Thanks, George. Long time no hear. Good to see you are doing okay and still around also.
-
I'm in the throes of Hell Week, but next week should begin my peaceful time. Or else I will have to skillet people into a state of tranquility...
-
I hear you, Bronx. Hope the family is doing well in spite of Hell Week happening.
-
Finally found the raw, unproccessed and unfiltered honey to make the year's temple ritual mead. So much to do,a nd getting another student it seems.

ROFL. I would agree if it were a normal mead for drinking and getting drunk off of for fun. However, this is not your normal drinking booze variety recipe. It is a genuine ancient recipe passed down through the priesthood in my family for a very long time. So yeah, I make 4 gallons per year because of the time, effort ,and unusual ingredient list that it requires. To be honest, it tends to mess with the senses in ways that normal drunken states do not.
-
I can imagine! But for getting squiffy, I stick to wine or sake myself. Sweet drinks give me the worst hangovers.
-
Hahaha I am a rum or whiskey gal myself, Bronx. 151 Bacardi or Wild Turkey 101 being my standard drinks. If I want sweet I go with Drambuie, Ameretto, or Grand Marnier. LOL. But, as a rule, I don't really like the taste of many types of alcohol beyond that very small list.
-
Finally getting better and should be able to get back to normal by end of week. Awoke with my right hand able to move and grip things consistently this morning for the first time in a month.
-
Oh, that's wonderful news! ::hugs::
-
I certainly thought so because one thing I hate is having terminal dropsy problem. Spent the last month in constant clean up of my messes when I forgot and grabbed drinks with the right hand. Being able to freely use my right hand means I am finally able to function fully.
-
Great! I'm sure it's a great relief and makes the day sunnier!
