This story may be a WIP but its a WIP with dozens of chapters (and twists and turns) already written and waiting on formatting. (as you see by the multi chapter per day upload rate). Heya, I just want to start by saying - Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who reviewed. It really makes a difference to get feedback!! I've been writing for a little while but i've never had the courage to post my stories. The first one I started was Precious Mudblood. Captive Audience was the second story I started but I abandoned it after the first chapter and have only recently returned to it. The first horcrux is the most recent of my stories - I only started it last week. There are two more longer chaptered fics which I'll post when I have a few more chapters of these ones up. One is a HP/TR slash, just in case anyone is interested in that vein. I will be answering reviews from all stories here. I hope thats ok. WesleyY7 - You posted the first review I ever received. Thank you! Thanks for the tip with formatting. I had noticed it too when I checked it after uploading two chapters. Unreadable!! Bravo to you for getting through it in that format. I hope it's a bit better now. Re the fic - it was actually the idea of a filigreed cage that provoked the rest of the story. I just had a vivid dream about one. The bathroom issue - yeah. Everything's easier with magic! I generally dislike mentioning pure hygiene functions in stories.. it seems to drag one back out of the action a little. Also.. most people squick a little at it. This story was begun during a phase where I was reading a lot of HP/HG darkfic! I never understood why Hermione would go for Ron.. I have tried not to be too Ron-bashing in this fic...although I can't promise i'll keep it up for the whole story. In Precious Mudblood I'm pretty horrible to poor Ron. nekluvshp - I'm really glad I could persuade you to become moderately morbidly fascinated with Lord Voldemort's sex life. ;-) I will try to update this fic about once a week (perhaps more often) - because I'm mainly formatting and putting up the chapters of Precious Mudblood at the moment. (its very long). I'll put the HP/TR chaptered fic up soon if you prefer slash. Dark Lady Snape - Thank you!!! You have no idea how ridiculously joyful and warmfuzzy I feel when you say you love a story I have written! As for the Dark Lord's aesthetic appeal - Voldie may or may not become pretty again. I know exactly where this story leads - but you'll have to wait and see! } purefaith91 - Thanks so much! I agree totally re Gin/Har and Ron/Her - In fact.. I could kind of take or leave the entire weasley family if I'm in an uncharitable mood. I've been quite cruel to them in other stories. In this story I will try to be more fair than I have been in the past. re hermione's state of mind in this fic.. I know she seems a bit cracked at times.. I put it down to being in a little silver box for six months, watching people be tortured and killed daily and never being looked at or spoken to. I have to say - I'm generally pretty independent and self reliant but it's hard to go for periods of weeks in complete silence. When someone shows attention to you after a long period of occupied isolation, you tend to babble. If the person who is suddenly showing you attention is the one you've been watching torture people viciously for months.. it might be different again. And if you've just actually slept with that person..more or less against your will, despite gaining physical satisfaction from the act - I think it could be a wee bit damaging to ones psychological state. Not only that, but hermione is extremely intelligent - learns and understands very quickly.. but she has been known to say things that were perhaps a little unwise or insensitive on occasion. (obviously not to Ron's extent) I don't know whether she'd be able to curb those thoughts, even if she didn't say them out loud. re Severus dying. It would be quite possible for a potions master to simulate death and with LV's complicity, he could very well live. I'm not saying that that is what has happened - but it *could* be. QueenRuby - I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'll try to update in the next few days. I've been busy formatting chapters for precious mudblood. Various formats of Voldie love will continue however. The contents of that scroll will be revealed..(although not in the next chapter. Sorry!!) I'm glad you're enjoying the bite of Snape in Precious Mudblood. I probably should have filed that fic under moresomes - but I hate that the moresome category doesnt group by pairings. And the *primary* pairing is LV/HG.. in a longtitudinal perspective at least. re - the first horcrux - Baby voldie *definitely* has issues.. they havent come out yet but they will in the next chapter. This one built up a bit more slowly than usual however it will contain all of the warnings listed. I wanted to write a fic with a young (not to say *underage*) Tom. (Course, mentally - he's the same age as Lord Voldemort) Froglette - OMG you ROCK!! I'm so glad I could keep you up late reading! Thank you for taking the trouble to review - it really does make a huge difference when I add a chapter and see that someone has reviewed. I didnt write the stories for other people (I mainly wrote them because I ran out of new fics in the ship I wanted to read) but I have to say - it really does feel so good to know that what you write is actually enjoyed by someone else.
