  1. Thank you for that catch, and I've edited that as well. I'm an author as well as a moderator, and I'd be pretty upset if my fiction was hosted someplace without my consent.

  6. While AFF does not support censorship, we are an adult venue, and based on the laws of the United States, where ownership of the site resides, that minimum age is defined as 18. If you object to the content of a story, you can feel free to click past to another that is more to your taste. However, we will not permit the posting of stories by persons under 18 on this site. We actively moderate, and such accounts will be removed. I have no intention of letting this degenerate into another pointless back and forth as to why we insist on obeying the law. This thread is now locked.

  9. Folks, just a word of caution. Fictionhunt is one of those sites that trolls the Internet for fiction, and posts them on their site without asking the author of the fiction first. They have no method of contacting them, and no way to file a take-down request. What they do is just another form of plagiarism, and I'd greatly appreciate it if you didn't link to that site.

  13. We ask that you not request pdfs or other hard copy formats of stories that have been taken down by the author. This thread has all the information we know, however.

  20. The story has been taken down from AFF, but I'm not seeing any record of staff action. The author has changed their pen name, however, from tmntfangirl84 to pandasize. There are no published stories for that account. T
  21. It's another RTE, then? I'm curious, because I know AO3 also has the line duplication issue in its RTE. I'll have to poke about and test it, but the "Paste from Word" option should preserve the formatting, including the style setting. One of my Luddite tendencies is that I still like the illusion that each "enter" is a carriage return, so I have "No spacing" as my default style in Word.

  24. How do you add content on that other site? I'm going to guess it's not an RTE?
