Corybantic Dance Genma/Hayate, Kotetsu/Ixumo (sorry, button for the last letter of the alphabet doesn't work. ), Kotetsu/Ixumo/Raidou. It was an alternate universe high school fic, featuring many of the chunin, jounin, and special jounin as high school students. Once of the few of its kind that I ever got into. I don't know what it is about this fic, but I love it. The author(s) responsible are guilty of getting me into Gen x Haya and Ko x Ixu stuff.

I imagine having everything in the same universe makes writing easier. :3 Does it? O: I'm in the process of creating a universe for my OC's to frolic in. That in itself is difficult. @.@ But I think it will be fun once I get everything straightened out. ^^ I'm glad there are codes too, for the most part. For certain warnings like the ones that involve character death though, it can take away from the suspense or tragedy of a story. It's very hard to squick me. It's only happened once on this site. I've read a lot of dark stuff too. The thing that squicked me wasn't even dark. It was just so poorly written that it made my eyes bleed. Am I a terrible person for thinking/admitting that? I wish you luck in that challenge fic. It seems like it would be a difficult thing for most people to write about. There's necrophilia in one of my stories, but it's only a technicality. XP
