What if @Yahegai really IS a reading machine, and the name is a long abbreviation that ends with "artificial intelligence"? We may never know, but here are my responses to their latest reviews.

Re: "Mia: Confessions of a Dickgirl"
Thank you! I'm proud of that ending.

    Re: "A Little Family Trip"
    Glad you enjoyed!

    Re: "Little Rose"
    Thanks very much.

    Re: "The Order of Things"
    Thanks!

So, I find myself writing a story that’s unusual in a couple of ways:
It’s a fanfic of Disney’s new animated series, Kiff, only 6 episodes of which are currently available on Disney+. I usually wait until a show is farther into its run before I start writing fanfics about it. There’s no sex. Just lots of cuddling. Although it turns out there’s kind of an awful reason for the cuddling.  Anyhoo, the story is called “The Snuggle Bug,” and I expect to post it some time this month.

So, that reading-and-reviewing beast they call @Yahegaihas left me TWENTY-FOUR new reviews. So here we go:

Re: “A Very Special Thank You”
Thanks! This story was my friend EhSteve's idea; I wrote it for him when he won a story raffle I held a few years ago.

    Re: “Some Girl”
Thanks. I wrote this one for a Valentine's Day contest; then my fondness for the characters let me to write the two sequels.

    Re: “Activation Day”
Thanks! Glad you liked the twist.

    Re: “Fireworks”
That was my favorite part--showing that the two sets of cousins are more alike than either of them thought.

    Re: “Comfort and Joy”
    You are most welcome.

    Re: “Excuses”
    Thanks!

    Re: “Impulse”
Thanks! "Excuses" and "Impulse" are two rare cases of stories that I wrote most of in a single day. They just took hold of me and made me write them.

    Re: “Mommy's Home”
    Thank you!

    Re: “Auntie's Home”
Thanks. I had a lot of fun with that one.

    Re: “May's Family”
    Gracias.

    Re: “Guidelines”
Thank you. That story was originally just going to be the guidelines themselves; I only thought of writing the interview chapter later.

    Re: “Quiet”
    Thank you.

Re: “Just Doin’ What We Do (A Halloween Story)”
    Thanks.

    Re: “Rough Night”
    Thank you!

    Re: “Dear Hazel”
    Thanks.

    Re: “A Perfect Mismatch”
    Glad you enjoyed.

    Re: “Pony Dearest”
That one was inspired by some artwork I'd seen on Inkbunny of futa horse-moms using their little fillies.

    Re: “Country Summer”
Thanks. This story started out as open-ended; it wasn't until around chapter 8 when I decided that I needed to start thinking about the ending. So I'm glad you liked it.

    Re: “Fun in the Oven”
After writing "Father's Love," I wanted to do another sex-in-the-womb story but to make it different from that one. This was what I came up with.

    Re: “Curfew”
I never feel like I'm writing enough bestiality stories.

    Re: “Dil-Drones”
I'll say one thing for the dil-drones: They actually DO give a flying fuck.

    Re: “Dil-Drones”
    Seriously!

    Re: “The Happiest Place”
Thanks! That was one of my favorite bits, too.

    Re: “Imaginary Tokyo”
Glad you enjoyed! I felt like the ending had to finally break with the anime tropes.

So, a few bits of news:
--I hope to have chapter 5 of “Out of Hand” off to beta this week.
--I’ve started mulling ideas and outlining a sequel to my Big Hero 6 story, “Augmented.” Like the upcoming movie Twisters, this is a sequel no one asked for , but I just like the idea and am going for it nonetheless.
--I have nearly finished an original short story, which I expect to post this week. It’s called “The Worst,” and it’s about a 12-year-old girl who likes to take her younger sister to an isolated beach where boys can take advantage of her. Yes, it’s one of my sick ones.
--Even though only a few episodes of the new Disney toon Kiff have come out so far, I already have an idea for a fic that I want to write--a non-porny one, believe it or not.

Here are my responses to the latest reviews from that reading-and-reviewing machine known as @Yahegai:

    Re: "Learning a Daughter's Duty"
Thanks! I had a lot of fun with that one.

    Re: "Caitlyn's Punishment"
    Thank you!

    Re: "Company Policy"
This was another one of those stories where I thought about what is normal, rational, and predictable and then did the opposite.

    Re: "F**k Perfect"
Thanks! That's exactly what I was going for.

Re: "A Beach Like No Other"
Thanks! This story was inspired by the artwork of Glassfish, who likes to portray cute young boys getting it on with busty adult women. I thought it would be fun to write about an entire world of that.

Re: "A Beach Like No Other"
    Hmmm, I like that thought.
    Thank you!

Re: "A Beach Like No Other"
Thanks! I tried to think of what kind of movie they would make in a world like this, and Captain Cassie and the Boy Pirates was the result.

    Re: "Father's Love"
Thanks. When I wrote this story, I didn't expect many people to like it, given the whole in utero sex angle. But it turned out to be a lot more popular than I expected--especially on Inkbunny, where it is far and away the most popular story I've ever posted there.

Re: "A Little Goes a Long Way"
    Thanks!

    Re: "Unbidden"
Thank you. This one was particularly fun for me to write because I could use a lot of the rape-fantasy scenarios that I had come up with previously but that I didn't think could carry a whole story on their own.

Yahegai, you are an animal! An extremely literate animal.
Here are my responses to your many reviews:

    Re: "Satisfaction"
Thank you! Originally, chapter 1 was going to be the whole story (this is also true of "The Interview"), but then I realized there was a lot more I wanted to do.

    Re: "Side Effects (COMPLETE)"
Especially Greg, who wasn't even under the influence like Melanie was.

    Re: "The Playground"
    Thanks!

    Re: "The AngelPlay Winter Catalog"
    Glad you liked it.

    Re: "Keene's Really Good Week"
    Thanks!

    Re: "Keene's College Weekend"
    Isn't he, though?
FYI, I've been kicking around ideas for a third and final story in this series, but nothing has really gelled yet.

    Re: "Daddy's Rules"
Yeah, Ianu is a completely bad apple.

Re: "The Single Mothers' Support Group"
Thanks! It was a fun change of pace to write an all-dialogue story like this.

    Re: "Snow"
    Thank you!

    Re: "Darla"
    Why, thank you.

    Re: "Twins: An Incest Poem"
Thanks! I'm only rarely inspired to do poetry, so I appreciate your appreciation.

    Re: "Darla's Dad"
    Oh, indeed.

    Re: "Darla's Dad"
As an author of both fan fiction and original fiction, I was quite flattered that someone wanted to write a fanfic of my original fics. And I agree that she did a great job.

    Re: "The Small Hours"
Thanks! I'm usually very concerned with plot and setup, but this time I was like, "Dang it, this time I'm going to write a PWP story."

    Re: "Wish List"
Thank you! The trickiest part of writing this story was not making it too similar to the "Wild Side" stories.

Re: "Some Days, You Get the Bear"
Thanks! I wrote this one for a story contest that had a 500-word limit, and I did not have an easy time making it that short, so I appreciate the compliment.

Re: "Backward Glance: A Multi-temporal Romance"
Thanks! I'm very happy with how this one turned out.

Now, I see that you’ve left another batch of reviews, which I’ll respond to soon.

“Weakness” is posted! Most teenage boys can only dream of having a sure thing, especially in the form of a hot, busty girl. But Jimmy has found a way, and he doesn't mind at all that the girl is his sister—or that her consent is dubious at best.

I’ve been a little slow about getting “Weakness” out there, but that should happen this weekend. Also, I just got chapter 4 of “Out of Hand” off to beta.

    So, a couple of things:
Because of my frenetic approach to working on stories, sometimes I don’t quite realize just how far along I am in writing a given story. So once in a while, I find myself saying, “Wait, did I just finish this?” Such is the case with “Weakness,” a near-PWP story about a brother who knows how to make his sister horny enough to do anything—whether she likes it or not. So now it just needs some proofing; I’ll probably post it early next week.
There’s a story I’ve been working on for years, about a mom who secretly wants her son to dominate her and finds a way to get him to do it without him knowing that it was her idea. All this time I’ve been calling it “Untitled mother-son shotadom story,” but today—while I was trying to think of a title for a different story—I thought of a title for this one: “Master Plan.”

    Some news:
--I'm pleased to report that chapter 3 of "Out of Hand" went off to beta yesterday.
--I have now caught up on posting the things I couldn't post during the read-only period. So my Big Hero 6 story "Augmented" is now here on AFF. I also posted my Halloween story from last year, “Night of the Were-Bimbos,” to my “Halloween Treat Bag.”
–I got a pleasant surprise today when I ran across the list of the top 50 most recommended authors in the AFF archives and found that I was tied for #3!

Okay, so I’ve caught up on posting “Secret Sash,” “Into the Third Dimension,” “Depravity Falls,” and “What Counts as Incest?” here on AFF, as well as my Halloween story “Horseman.” But I’ve still got more catching up to do.

“Smooshed” is now fully posted, and I’ve also posted the existing chapters of “Out of Hand” (ie, chapters 1 and 2). Just a little catchup posting left to do.

So, it looks like The Big Day has come, and it is possible for authors to post stories and chapters again. I have a LOT of catch-up posting to do, so I won’t try to do it all at once. I think I’ll focus on completing existing stories first, starting with “Secret Sash” and “Into the Third Dimension.”
Also, and I really mean it this time, I think the final chapter of “Depravity Falls” will be ready for beta by the weekend.

Well, it seems I was too optimistic in hoping to have chapter 11 of Depravity Falls finished by this weekend. Not that I haven't made good progress; it's just that there's more left to write than I'd realized. So now I’m hoping to have it beta-ready by this time next week.
Progress on the final story of “The Power Arcane” is slow but steady. I can’t say yet when that will be ready, but it WILL be ready eventually.
I have a short story that should soon be ready for prime time titled “What Counts as Incest?” Its about two older-teen siblings who use some increasingly questionable logic to talk themselves into having a night of sexy fun together.

I posted the final chapter of “Smooshed” on AO3 a couple of days ago. The reaction to that and to chapter 1 of “Out of Hand” has been substantial, which is delightful.
Less delightful was some news I got the other day: My friend Lady Freelove let me know that my story “The Power Arcane” was plagiarized and published on Webnovel.com under the plagiarist’s name. I created an account there and reported it; we’ll see what, if anything, comes of that.
On the writing front, I now have 3 priorities: the final chapter of “Depravity Falls,” chapter 2 of “Out of Hand,” and the final story of “The Power Arcane.” Which doesn’t mean that I’m not also working on a bunch of other stuff.

Okay, three big pieces of news:
Chapter 1 of “Out of Hand” is now posted on AO3. I just send the 18th and final chapter of “Smooshed” off to beta. The great merge-and-purge of AFF’s duplicate accounts is now finished. @BronxWenchdid, like, 90% of it, but I’m glad to have helped a little. This puts AFF a step closer to getting out of read-only mode.

    So, updates:
--I’ve just sent chapter 1 of “Out of Hand” off to beta. This is the Loud House story that will complete the trilogy with “Enter the Sandboy” and “Just One Rule.”
--Probably the next thing that will be beta-ready is the final chapter of “Smooshed.” I hope to have a complete first draft to send by next week.

Chapter 5 of “Augmented” is in beta, so I’m now splitting the bulk of my attention among the final chapters of “Smooshed,” “Depravity Falls,” and “The Power Arcane.” I’d say the first two will be ready well before the third.

--Yesterday, I posted chapter 17 of “Smooshed” to AO3.

Chapter 17 of "Smooshed" came back from beta last week. Fairy Slayer found some serious problems with it, so I have revised the chapter and returned it to him for a second look.
The AFF Holiday Party couldn't happen this year, so I have back-burnered the story I was writing for it.
Right now, my focus (to the extent that I have focus) is on finishing up the semi-final chapter of "Depravity Falls" and the final chapter of "Augmented." I hope to get one or both chapters off to beta by the end of the week.
