Some Bad news...
Firstly I am NOT stopping this fic!
However, I got some very bad news from the hospital last week and I now have to make the most difficult and important decision I've ever had to make before. I have been told that there is nothing else they can do for me save but one. So I may be under going another painful operation. I am waiting to hear more information but from what I have found out there is a very long recovery period. There is also no guarantee that it will work. I have a while to see specialists and make my decision ect. But I can't live on morphine either. I have to decide if i want to be in pain for the rest of my life or risk this op. I will be weighing up the risks and of course there will be a fair few months, I have no doubt, before anything happens. But I wanted you all to know that the next update will not come as fast as the last.
I apologise profously and hope so much that you will all continue to support me by sticking with this fic. It's not over. I'm still going. Please don't quit on me. x

I seriously want to find this fic, its been bugging me because I can remember the scene you are talking about, but I can't remember where I read it.
I remember reading this too! I'll be damned if I can remember what it is though :S I can't search properly coz Im not at home atm, I'm travelling. But could it be Hogwart's Malstream (sp?) by ReiRei? Its a dark fic though so it's probebly not

Just a quick note. I'm going away for a week or so. I'm going to try and get another chapter up before I leave on thursday but I don't want to rush these very important next few chapters. So0o0oooo, if I don't update by Thursday it won't happen until the week beginning the 7th. I must apologise for this delay as usual but it can't be helped. I feel you would rather I didn't rush and ruin it anyways
Sorry again for the hold up. It was great coming back to find more reviews even if some of them did leave me feeling a bit depleted.
The Dragoness- You are a star!!! Sorry u got the brunt of my writing angst in that email. I was feeling immensely insecure about my work.
I always will. It annoys even me so thank you for putting up with me. Thank you also for defending me It makes me feel better knowing someone is backing me Lady Disdain- I am so relieved not only to hear from you but to be told that you still love my story! That is a huge boost! I hope you have been well, and you know what I'm like with updates. I'm too sporadical I know. I go like two weeks with three updates and barely any sleep and then i'll go over three months before my next update. Its stupidity on my part. If I pace it, write and wait so I always have an extra chapter then ppl wouldn't be as effected by it. But no0o0o00oooo I don't use my brain I post them asap and then check hourly for the next week or so just to see if i've got any reviews and did I upset anyone and do ppl feel I'm still keeping them in character. lol I wait anxiously every time I post and i wait for the criticisms and negative comments. lol. All in all I fail. I can write for myself and enjoy it but as soon as i put it up for anyone else's opinion I cringe and hide away lol.
As always thank you everyone for your continued support and thank you very much guys for your patience. I will have the next chapter up when I get back or just before I leave.

MacPhisto- In answer to your reviews on chapter 26 I haven't specified for a particular reason. It's supposed to be a mystery to the readers till later on. I've not had others complain about it. :S I'm sorry you're not enjoying it though.

MacPhisto- I hope you're liking the fic. :S from the first couple of reviews I thought you were but now I'm not so sure. I'm hoping that because you're stil reading that you're still enjoying it.
As for Blaise. I started this fic in 2007 and it was never in my mind gonna get this serious. Or this long. I'd read fics with Italian Blaise in long before I even took much notice of him as a character. It just kinda happened that in my head Blaise became this italian guy and I never did any research to find out otherwise. It wasn't until the film that i kinda went... ooops :S So yeh I'm sorry if that annoyed you, but that's the only reason he's not black.
I will warn you again about how dark the fic will soon turn. I hope you don't go off it and as I say to everyone, I never want to upset or offend anyone with my work.

That was a wicked surprise As for the synopsis it would be good if there was sommat that sums it up without giving much away. Like the whole, good versus bad, light vs dark and Draco vs Hermione. but not mention which side theyr on. Does that make sense? I'd like to think its sommat like what i've got up now where its only him that can save her. but it doesn't mention why or where or any real plot details. Does that make sense?:S

I want this person blocked from viewing or commenting on anything I publish, if possible. They posted the following as a review under my Avatar fanfiction (and there was no mention of abortion or an actual pregnancy in the chapter I uploaded):
"OK, a few words...at the beginning, you make it appear that Katherine is pregnant, and yet they act as if they AREN'T pregnant...what does she mean by asking him if he wants kids? Hello? It's kind of a moot point, they already HAVE a kid? In her womb? Please don't tell me that she killed her child with an abortion. That upset me so badly that I felt sick to my stomach and couldn't enjoy the rest of the story. I would rather Katherine and Sebastian not have a relationship at all if they're going to kill any children they conceive. Her pregnancy may be unique and interesting to scientists, but it doesn't change the fact that that's HER FAMILY...HER BABY. She shouldn't think of her own child as an "experiment". The fact that it's unexpected also doesn't change the fact that that is HER BABY. She should PROTECT him, not kill him! What you did with them made her look very selfish."
I've had some pretty wild and crazy reviews but I don't need Tiller Killers coming after me just because fictitious characters in my story talk about using birth control. I can laugh off trolls but I've gotten some pretty intense comments, including threats of "gutting" if I fail to include enough of someone's favorite character/s. Given how fanatical some Avatar fans seem to be, I'm not laughing off a "prolife" rant from one of them. What angers me even more is that this lunatic changed her review after I submitted the next chapter with a note stating that Katherine was never pregnant at all. I can't decide if I'm more offended by the gratuitous "abortion" accusation or the fact that she didn't have the spinal fortitude to leave her original review where it was and apologize in a separate one.
Please block this unstable freak from looking at or commenting on anything I write, from now on. I would do it myself, if I could figure out how. Beneath is the link to her/it's profile:
Wow that's all pretty crappy on her part. Its like, ok we write fiction for fun NOT to get ranted at. No one wants to get a negative rant, let alone one like that. Did you even mention she was preggers? Or was it just a general, "do you want kids?" question? Either way, looks like she took it all out of content. I agree she should apologise though to be fair she's probably so embarrassed now that she's realised and also coz you've mentioned it on here (rightly so,) so maybe that's why you havn't had an apology.

Hey, what about my stories? Geeze, a guy couldn't get any love around here. Ok, might help if I ever finished more than one of them...
Seriously, it's mostly digging. Stay away from the major fandoms, and you actually tend to see different patterns. The original sections, for example, tend to have more rape/incest/bondage in their fics than something like the Harry Potter section, whose authors have a firm belief that the only thing better than than the Weasly twins enjoying a randy bout of twincest is Harry and Lucius, or Harry and Draco, or Harry and Draco and Lucius, having a horribly torrid and dramatic romance of epic proportions that dwarfs even the scope of the original author's creation.
As a writer and reader, my suggestions are to look at the tags and read the reviews. If people are asking questions about the characters as often as they demand more, its probably a good story. And searching for tags is a good way to sort through what you want in a specific area.
Aww that's not fair
There are some really really really good fics in the HP section. And I've only ever read the hetero ones. I write in the Harry Potter section and this really made me feel blue knowing that you felt that way. **hides**

On asking Hermione who she lost her virginity this was meant to be put in:
“Please tell me is wasn’t Weasley?” Draco asked in disgust and horror.
“Do you want me to tell you the truth, or just tell you it wasn’t Ron?” Hermione half-smiled in exasperation, still irritated by the question overall.
And this was meant to go in there somewhere but it just didn't happen. I may edit and put this back in coz it feels necessary to make the love making night more special.
"I’ve never been made love to Draco. Ever. With krum it was curiousity, teenage curiousity. Everyone had me up on such a pedestal back then, and they still do, that something like that seems so out of character and unusual. But perhaps maybe there’s the problem. Maybe if I hadn’t been placed upon the pedestal in the first place there wouldn’t have been such fucking decimation when I fell off of it."

Mugglenet, one of the largest HP fan sites around, has a fan fiction section with content ratings from 1st year to Professor. There are catagories for same-sex pairings and HG/SS. Rowling knows this site well and even invited its creator, Emerson Spartz, into her home for an interview before the release of HBP.

Personally I love anything Hermione/Draco or Hermione/Snape. I find some of them can but dark but additionally there's also some really light and fluffy ones.

I don't own a MAC but I've got the 2007 Word on my laptop. I'm Brit born but live in Australia. It took me 5 hours to get the spellchecker to be anything but US spelling. One of my pet peeves is American spelling, it just bugs the hell out of me and I refuse to use it. (I'm not saying that other people shouldn't use just that I won't) I also have the problem of not being very technically minded, and I don't have the excuse of being artistic (I can't draw a straight line
).I randomly stumble on forum topics and add my unwanted two knuts. Having said that I think I might go and give your story a read.
Keep on writing, even sporadically is better than none.

The Mac currently says NOOOO to any other language but American english... which, as you know isn't the same as English over here. Soooo I try to write in English as much as I can but if I need to spell check it comes up as American and some words are corrected in american english automatically. Sorry if this has caused annoyance or anything. I have tried to sort it but I do art... art and technology don't mix. there's that whole artist/technology curse thing going on, so really im just thankful this baby hasn't broken down on me yet.

I have in no way turned off from your story it is one of my fav. I personal love how dark you went with it in the second half and parts of the first. For me Draco and Hermione are a dark secrative explosive couple. And the you are one of the authors who portrays that for me.
I think I have said this before I will not read updates until you have finished the story as the story is very complex and and I have forgotten very key things that have happened in the first half. So I wnat to sit down and just read from start to finish then you will get a mamoth review. But i do really like this story

It means so0o0o0o much to me that you've stuck with the fic and I really appreciate you reviewing to say you're still interested. I completely understand you wanting to wait until it's finished. I keep having to go back and re-read the fic to make sure I include the right info so it does take me a while, however, i'd rather keep to my plot bunny and take my time rather than bash out the story that doesnt match up with details in the first half. Thank you for your concern with my health and as I've said before if i wasn't struggling with everything in life due to my health issues I would have finished this fic by now. However, I am glad I haven't I love working on this fic. I started writing fanfics when I was in hospital (Search for all truths- old old bad bad fic) and got into this the summer before uni....it started back in 2007! :S ooops. So yeah, for everyone's sake I wish it didn't take so long. But on the plus the longer I've had to work on it the more story I've thought up and I really really really enjoy writing it. Dunno what I'll do when its finished :S
... Probably start another.

I don't know if it will help but one thing I've found I do a lot is if I'm stumped on a chapter but got ideas for a part later in the fic, or even just later in the same chapter I write it down. NEVER delete! If you don't feel happy with it copy and paste it to a spare document and save it. You may end up coming back to it in a few hours and think, ah! That's what's missing. Another thing I find if I'm stuck on a particular scene is just jotting down ideas, or parts of sentences, or even just describing the room they may be in. It may never get used and it may have no relevance to the scene but it'll keep the creative brain juices a-flowing so that when you finish and go back to the scene you may find it easier. I dunno if that helps or not. Sorry if not. I sincerely wish you all the best with your fic though
