Too much Yaoi? No. I come here mainly for that anyway. If anything, there's too much Harry Bloody Potter Not enough well written stories? Maybe, I don't know. I don't read that much on here 'cos I only read specific stuff, like something about a cartoon or show I don't know or even know exists, I won't read, which is a lot of the stories here. But after finding a good well-written story, it can make sieving through crap worth it. They make us work for a good read.

I like happy endings If it's a sad ending, it always feels unfinished. And then I'm left basically asking questions like, "why the hell did he have to die?" etc. Although it may sound stupid, when a story ends badly, I tend to forget about it a quick as I can. If it's good, I'll be thinking about it for ages. Kind of like near the start of a movie, if one of the main characters/heroes gets injured, it kind of ruins the entire movie, because he can't do his best to stop the bad guys with a bullet hole in his arm.

Wow this is the first I'm hearing of Breast-size censorship for porn. But I think it would only be for published (as in sold for money legally, and publicly) porn videos/movies. Unless hey have a certified pedo working for them, surfing the net for uploaded porn in which they think is attractive to them as it has small breasts, then remove it. B) So it really doesn't mean shit when it comes to writing a fictitious story. Personally, I think the perfect size is C. Although I think I'm a bit obsessive in this department as I seem to find anything bigger or smaller than C a bit unattractive. Like, huge breasts, no thanks (as in, I think "yuck" in my head when I see them). Nothing beats a C-cup, in my book. But don't be sad, it's carnival! Go with what your heart tells you!

For the last few days I have just have the radio going, but not on the radio but on the computer from the radio station's website, better speakers than an alarm clock, lol.

I just like simple no-artsy-fucking-fartsy-bullshit. I would rather read words that are actually used in the real world. E.g. I would rather see 'dick' or 'penis' used instead of 'love-rod' or 'throbbing-manhood'. Most of these sort of words cause me to stop reading straight away most of the time, especially 'throbbing-manhood'. And when people refer to a vagina as 'sex', that's terrible. Like "he move his hand over her sex". For some reason I am seeing this more and more. I don't have any 'turn-on words' (that I know of), but there are a fuck load of turn-off words being used all too much out there in fan-fic land. For fuck sake, keep it simple and above all REALISTIC, I say.

I only read a story if I am interested by what the summary says and what content tags/labels it has. I also will not read any fanfiction if I am unfamiliar with the tv show/game/cartoon or whatever it's about. I just find it too hard to read about characters if they aren't OC and I have no idea what sort of character they are. To me, if I am unfamiliar with fanfic characters, reading a story about them is like skipping to the last chapter, not knowing anything about the characters, and it's just a waste of time. So, if it's not an original story, I won't read it unless I'm familiar with what it's based on. If I do read the story and I like it, I will say so, to let the author know that I enjoyed reading it. If I don't like it, it's usually because it's not of my tastes, and there's nothing wrong with the actual writing. I write, though haven't got anything up at the moment. I did have a story up a while ago but removed it to re-write the whole thing, whilst I also have 6 other stories in progress. Half the time I don't even know where the line is between 'a crap story' or just 'a story that didn't interest me', and I don't want to crit peoples writing if I just didn't like the story, if you know what I mean.

Totally agree with everything said here, and there is one thing that bugs the shit outta me that seems to be in quite a few stories I have read lately: When people refer to female genitalia as 'sex'. Like, "she slid her hand down the front of her skirt and rubbed her sex", "she licked her fingers to taste the sweetness of her sex" . What the fuck? I don't get it, it makes the whole thing sound awkward and just really weird....

Mythdefied has mentioned everything worth mentioning. Out of all those things, the one thing I am just starting to loath is the Epithets. I didn't used to pay much attention to authors never using characters name and just describing them every time. But now I cringe every time I read "the whatever", especially when it is used every single time in the story. Also rape is prettty annoying to see.

I don't have a story up, I took it down to re-write the whole thing, but, I would rather have serious reviews. For the obvious reasons.

I review at the time I read it, if I like it. Although every story that I have reviewed haven't been updated for ages, so obviously I put 'No' for Do you wait until a story is finished to review it?

I don't burn proper books, just the only bible I will ever own.

The bible is full of shit and there's only one place for the one I had when I was a kid. I chucked it in the fire place where it belongs.
