Character bashing in general drives me loopy! If you don't like a character, don't read a fic about them... or don't write about them yourself! There are a few characters that (canon wise) I'm not the biggest fan of, so I don't write about them. If, canon wise, they screw up a pairing I like, well, I don't follow canon on that then, do I! If I wanted to write a, oh, lets say, Harry/Draco fic, I wouldn't even bring Ginny into the picture! Or, if I felt the need to, pass her off on someone else!
