  1. Tentacle rape.
  2. Eh, I guess the title made my point clear already. However, I would love to read some good suggestions about this father-son relationship with benefits. If there happens to be a Malfoycest archive (both Nox et Lumos and House of Ill Faith are sorely missed), I would really, really like to find more material to spend more quality time with my left hand read. And yes, I am already a member of the Malfoycest community in LJ.
  3. Oh, do tell me more about that OMC Licious? (reads: I fucking hate it when people can't even type characters' names right.)
  4. Point taken. I just had nothing to do and my stomach kind of felt like giving some feedback *You. Are. Fucking. Killing. Me.*
  5. I'll second to that. Total support! Actually I am kind of disappointed that I haven't got any flames yet, it would really make me ...snicker. Especially because of this would mean that said flamer read my story and then vent his helpless anger against precious me. Why do that? If I happen to accidentally stumble on some material that makes me shudder with abhor, I just don't read it. Nice, smooth and ...simple. Oh, and there is something more. It might be just me, but if "reads the story" -> ??? -> PROFIT! -> "flaming" -process happens, it looks like the reader subconsciously enjoyed it but cannot admit it to him/herself. Just like the real reason behind homophobia. I don't know if it is so but it leaver me wondering... However, just ...delicious.
  6. Well... there have been reviews that made me all "YAY!"-squee, but this one: "I must say, that of all Draco/Lucius fanfiction I have read, no maybe of all Harry Potter Fanfics I've read, this is the undefeated champion. I mean, it took my breath away! The dark sophisticated and yet oh so dirty way of writing you use, it hits ALL of my happy buttons. It has become a source of inspiration for me. I can only wish that one day I will reach your level of writing. Thank you for this wonderful and inspiring piece of work, I will hold my thumbs for more ^^" made me *lost for words* -> *hyperventilates* -> *insane screams about how I am going to fukken climax on the spot* ...especially as it was "Fallen Angels, Fallen in Love", my second fic and my first attempt at the sheer divinity that is Malfoycest. (Yep, Lucius/Draco is my OTP)
  7. This is, in my not so humble opinion, the point. However, if one likes receiving feedback, I absolutely do not consider him/her as a review whore. I am really happy every time someone feels like telling me what they thought about my stories but I'd consider myself as a review whore only if I would post here an individual topic, its content being "Hey, I am Supersonic Bitch here and pay attention to my pro-Slytherin, pro-Pureblood and very Malfoy-centric HP fanfiction, and oh, I forgot: grovel and worship my Malfoycest!!11fuckingeleven1!!!" *my brain hurts*
  8. Yeah, right. Continue your pitiful excuses, review-whore. I would love to get more constructive criticism too, (actually I think that everyone wants) but at least I am able to not resort in excessive whining about the subject to the point of making an individual topic about your story not getting enough reviews that you'd like to read. I do think you see that there is "Review exchange thread" already.
  9. In my not so humble opinion, pr0n is much better with a story. Characterization, plot, reasons why said persons fuck each other, anticipation, building sexual tension and other such thing just heighten the intensity of pr0n scenes. There are quite a lot of enjoyable PWPs but these tend to include reasons and characterization still. I just fukken hate pr0n logic: person X meets person Y -> pr0n without any reasons why -> ??? -> profit! (Oh, well, the South Park quote had nothing to do with the point but I have been mercilessly tormented by my new IJ account and therefore my current state ov mind is kinda insain. Insane Journal indeed.) And then again, I just have to stress this certain point again: like homicide, fanfiction is self-expression, not fanservice. (Sheesh, going all psycho again, this might help my very, very vague AU-ish consensual psycho!Malfoycest storyline. Torture, character deaths, blurring and destroyed identities, general insanity and other nice thingsees. Oh yesss..., I am sick fuck and rather proud ov it.)
  10. Usually I do have a clear idea how my fic will end. However, sometimes the ending changes during writing process when I for example realize that my original ending plan just doesn't fit in the style or I come up with something more delicious. Twist endings are just lovely because I want to surprise readers but then again, the most important point is that the end fits in.
  11. Okay, Supersonic Bitch meets review whore. Reaction: I hate review-whoring. My usual reaction is: if I don't like the story, I don't even read it and absolutely don't review it. However, as I despise attention whores, here is a little review for you:
  12. I guess the reason was that. Thank you very much for the answer. *bows*
  13. I humbly apologize that I post my (probably very stupid) question here but as you people are writers, I think you could enlighten little precious me. (I'm somewhat desperate and I just couldn't find the right place to ask this. Fuck, now I sound like I'm trying to emo blackmail people. I hate myself and I want to dieXD) The problem being: I was trying to post my second (and last) chapter of my story, (wordcount about 7000) and it all looked pretty perfect (all the material was there) when I put the text there. Checking out if I had messed up with my italics: there was something like less that 1/3 of the text. Please, tell me what it was all about?
  14. I review if I like the story, adding some constructive criticism if I feel that there is something that should IMO be improved. If I don't like the story (pairings, warnings and summaries tell quite a lot already), I don't read it. Very simple, I think.
  15. As a reader and a writer, my not so humble opinion could be described as "STFU and deal with my writer's block and/or the fact that I am now completely in love with my new idea." I consider my fanfiction as self-expression, not fan service and the same goes for others' fics too. On the other hand, I tend to write one-shots that are connected to each other, providing a constant storyline while still meant to work completely on their own too and if I have a WIP with many chapters, I don't start posting it if I don't have all the material at least in the first draft phase. That is mostly to avoid writer's block Ben Dover and stress.
  16. One idea? I'm bloody drowning in my WIP ocean. And as I want all my stories work on their own while still being connected to each other, let's just say.... thasss not nice. (FUCK. Now. I. Am. Going. To. Stop. Emoing.)
  17. I'm not referring to the said pairing (hey, I don't even know who they are) but in general because this is the point in my fanfiction (and the reason why I absolutely hate some pairings). Okay, I don't usually do the romance thing anyway (except Lucius/Draco, I'm completely obsessed with consensual Malfoycest), but in general I just love dubious consent, though some good old in-out non-con is nice too
  18. To be perfectly honest, both reasons. Improving my writing skills is the reason I overdose on stress every fucking time I have a writer's block, feel that I'm practically writing the same scene again, only in another fic, write something terribly clichéd (though I liked writing some kind of fics that I consider as initiation rites... good clichés). And I just love to get feedback which includes constructive criticism. But... of course there is the ego boost. I am quite sure that I'm not the only one going all "YAY!" when receiving a good review and it certainly boosts my ego. It saves my day
  19. I have experienced all the symptoms described this far. Let's see if I can come up with some more... Your WIPs haunt you even while you sleep and your subconscious creates new plotlines appearing in your dreams. You end up doing drugs just to get over writer's block or to get in right mindset for writing a certain scene. You consider writing more fanfiction as the main task in your life. This can happen just in general or maybe with specified pairing (for me it happens to be consensual Malfoycest).
  20. As with almost everything, the real point is not what but how. So, the amount of pr0n doesn't really matter, but it must be believable. Characters should have real reasons to fuck each other. (Okay, not all characters if one is writing dubcon or non-con .) If the main point of the story happens to be pr0n, it should in my not so humble opinion be PWDP (porn with devious plots), not simple PWP. Umm... maybe I should explain why devious plots are so important to me: I have not written even single one fic without Malfoys (except for one gen drabble about Bellatrix Lestrange).
  21. Agreed. I don't have anything original to offer but you made the point wonderfully clear and your comparison is written just deliciously.
  22. I love it too ...if it is evil dubcon with !TOP Lucius (must. not. drool. in. public.) [ADVERTISEMENT! I wrote one some days ago.] Non-con is nice too... I have absolutely no idea. Or... possibly because there are so many really great fics with that pairing (for example Other Chambers, Darker Secrets by Amanuensis or Sleepwalking with the Damned by Hijja) that I, for example was rather reluctant to write Lucius/Harry because I was afraid I'd end up just a lousy copycat.
  23. Because I couldn't put this on words better, I just have to quote Lorielen, a very skilled fanfiction writer: (the source: http://www.geocities.com/gssdark/foyer.html ) "I've taken the time to create such a topic basically because Draco Malfoy is my favourite character in the whole Harry Potter series and he's evilly trashed about daily by millions of pseudo-fans who just wanted a good-looking wizard to pair with their Mary-Sues. So they commit the grievous blasphemy of calling 'Draco' a fluffy, sensitive and inherently nice little blond boy who hates his father. Which is immeasurably wrong as far as canon and sense go. Whilst Fluffy!Draco isn't completely impossible to write, it's notoriously hard to find one that is In Character. Within this topic, I have tried to make an analysis of how I perceive Draco. I have read all books, written several works of fiction featuring him, plus have Role-Played him for close to two years now, so I feel I am fairly acquainted with Draco's psyche and behaviour and entitled to express my extreme disappointment at and the absurdity of some of the common Out Of Character Dracos that we get to see around the net. Split in four items, on which I attack some of the issues that are most appalling to me. Item One: he happens to be a git And immensely pleased with himself, at that. So should a fan be - not that being a fan implies instant quitting of one's critical sense, there is much that could be improved on Draco. However, what draws attention the most in him is that he fits in the Slytherin stereotype, in the evilness department. That given, why go and change specifically his chief feature? Many people dedicate a lot of time and effort to that. From what I gather, they attempt to make him more human, and I honestly have no idea of what could be the whole point of it, if usually what happens is a distorted version of Draco falling for a Mary-Sue and all of a sudden going against his Father and his inner beliefs and everything he fought for his whole life and built his personality upon. Unreasonable to the brick of nausea. He would hardly change his attitude, when he has spent the whole five books of the series boasting about it. For more on this see The (infamous) Slytherin Redemption Issue, One: Draco Malfoy, bellow. No reason to re-shape him to quiet and introspective, or sensible and fluffy, when his witty lines in the books have captured your heart. Much to Ron's dismay, he can even rhyme. No motive to butcher Draco into being helpful and chivalrous, if that arrogant look suits him so well - and you know it. Why have him as the poor little boy who’s victim of parental abuse and in desperate need of help from the noble Gryffindors when we all know so well that it just isn’t true, that he gets expensive presents from home, that his father got a hippogriff killed and a professor in Azkaban just because of a cut to his arm. And, most importantly, why make him nice if you became a fan of Draco's because he’s the series’ bad boy? Why pervert J. K. Rowling's work while claiming to be a fan. If you're here and reading this nonetheless, you probably like Draco, even though he is an insensitive git, a total jerk who knows just the wrong thing to say at the wrong time to make someone feel miserable and inferior. Even if he’s an insufferable brat, spoilt rotten by his father, weaver of lame ways to climb up the power ladder. He has Crabbe and Goyle beat people for him so that he won’t mess his hair. There are some times we feel seriously tempted to tell him to take his stupid pride and beloved Malfoy name and just shove them. Even though he's sourly incompetent at times and has been hexed successfully by Ginny Weasley, one year his junior. That I am able to expand on Draco's faults doesn't make me less of a fan. The devil's advocate tactic simply brings out that, instead of trying to shape him into a nice Gryffindor with blond hair, I accept Draco the way he is. A little bastard. So kisseable. There’s no need for him to change. Needless to say he has got good traits as well. Canon Draco is Slytherin, dream-like in beauty, intelligent, and can be trustworthy if he wishes so. He's selective, true to his history and traditions, and that of his family and world. Protective of his aims. Ambitious. Builds a safety network to reach to when he's in trouble, knows better than to get caught. He's witty, pleasantly sarcastic. Gifted when it comes to Potions, as well as Quidditch - maybe not as much as Harry, but the final match is always against Slytherin, which testifies in favour of his quality. He's Harry Potter's more than worthy counterpart. In the hands of a good writer he can be wonderfully deep, with internal struggles that warrant for heart-twitching during the read."
  24. About !top Harry... and ...let's just say the lightning bolt scar just screams "TARGET!" If one tries to keep them in character (fuck, what's the point in writing fanfics if one just vomits on the personalities of the characters?), the only way to manage consensual Draco/Harry is getting them utterly, terribly drunk. Have you ever read that they hate each other? Anyway, if they just have to fuck each other, it's either Draco topping or Draco topping from the bottom.
