Updating stories without sending them to the top of their category

Honestly, there aren’t a lot of members who would deliberately game the system. We did have some in the past, but they tended to also demand reviews and indulge in other objectionable behaviors. I’m not going to say that an author shouldn’t fix a glaring typo, or formatting issue, simply to avoid bumping up a story. I think we can trust our members to not strive for front page dominance in an archive.1 point
