You just want a peek at my crazy But, alas and alack, it has been condemned to the ether; and I doubt, hopefully, that I would be able to recreate it

  5. Phytoerotic Asphyxiation is the result of me mocking my muse for not coming up with porn. I'm working on another, longer, original, story with porn in the middle. Took a break for this. Got some reviews! And 290 hits! and the shock realisation that one extra dot is needed for the subject ellipsis! Thanks for your review, BW! WS never bothers me, but then I've had cheap wine from the less salubrious stores in Kentucky. Bit of a palate cleanser really after that. Yeah, Bowser's gonna get both Kingdoms! He's one smart lizard. Except, possibly, for getting caught every time. Of course Zelda'll steal both kingoms off him by being secretly even more evil. Maybe. Thanks DG! I do sometimes feel a little bad about y'all staff having to read the creepy shit. At least it's short and not too painfully constructed in terms of writing. I'll probably re-read it in a month and see a horrible clanger in syntax. Thanks Anon! Yeah, it's definately not a vanilla fic, s'why I left my bigger disclaimer and codes at the top of the page which I didn't do for most of the previous prompt fics I did. Wanted to give folks a chance to turn back. Good of you to check it through though and leave a comment - 290 hits and 3 reviews isn't a bad ratio for me! Thanks again all.

If you can read it! I wrote it and was lost two sentences in...not just the plot being way messed up, the syntax was so bad it made even me cringe. I know my writing can be a little confusing and difficult to read at times but holy crap I think I invented a new language here

  7. It never feels good getting shot I think everyone can... or at least should say but pulling someone out of hell after taking the bullet makes you forget about it every one that gets to go home is another blessing each time you see that unknowing face look up at you hoping you are there to take them home makes your heart leap and honestly the ghosts of those that don't make it home are the worst thing I would not wish on my worst enemy but when it works it makes you want to go back out get them out of the hell they were forced into as soon as possible the best feeling in the world I've ever had was getting shot in the arm then carrying a 3 year old out of a burning building talk of retirement for me is off the table I know I'm getting better because I thought I might and that for me would be a nightmare

Okay everybody start worrying, when he reached #62 on BITG he left "brand x" and had to track him down to here to find out what happened in Chapter 63. I am off to read 62 here and have set my hound on his scent, just in case.

Been there - different wound. Only thing I can say "Rome wasn't built in a day". Takes time and . perseverance. You have got to want to get better AND that has got to be your main focus. Put what you want to do after you get better on the back burner. B

Don't worry, won't be anywhere near that long, just being an ass and yanking everyone's chain...I'm a bit of a jerk after all Probably be a week or so...I wanna do a little research and get things sort of lined up...I actually have a bunch of scenes written and need to sort of tie them together. But one a week after that will probably be my pace during the summer...kids off so I won't have as much free time since I'm the house wife now...I can strip and reasseble an M-16 blindfolded in under two minutes...and now I can do the same thing with a vacuum cleaner, that seems wrong somehow

The most important part that you have to consider is are you afraid to Live or Die? Dying is easy and once done that's it, while Living takes Courage everyday as you have more decisions to make and others that depend on you for Love and guidance. As Magus & Sniper can attest to when you train others you not only help them but all those that they pass your knowledge onto. So you end up saving a lot more than by just leading a few.

ya Yeah, but how many people can say they walked through the fire - you can! You have nothing to prove, you've earned your right to be standing on this planet, you bled for that right after all.

Retiring was the hardest thing I had to do; fact I retired what three times . You'll miss it but there's a time to take the harness off; different for all of us and its a decision you have to make for yourself, just remember to be honest with yourself. if it doesn't feel right then it probably isn't, don't let peer pressure or stupid things like some macho code decide for you, remember you are not the only one your decision affects. And you can still teach, there are people stateside looking for instructors with your skills and experience, pays not half bad and its nice being able to spend most of your nights and weekends with your family - and don't knock a nice warm soft bed either! beats the hell out of sleeping in the mud!

Gotta take exception to some of you comment. I DO NOT think making a rational decision to NOT go back in the line of fire is "chicken"! Should you make that decision to "retire" based on the comments from fellow vets here it would be the, in "our" opinion the correct one. PLEASE carefully read the comments of Sniper and Mangus. You have done more than your part and can contribute to the ongoing wellbeing of the country and the guys in the field by passing on you experience and expertise to those coming up. Don't let that get lost. B

All she would have to do it bat her eyes at me and smile while saying Papa please and I melt like butter. Not like I am wrapped around her finger but I am wrapped around all of them. Not just my wife but my daughters, grand children and great grandchildren.

I know how you are feeling. My wife dreaded the phone ringing anytime I was home and really dreaded a knock on the door. I could not tell her where I was or when I was coming back. Even after I retired not ony her but I dreaded phone calls because of who I was working for near the end of my career. To this day I still am visited by ghost and have cold chills at night and if it was not for the love of my life being their to comfort me I would still be a basket case. But I and everyone here believe that if you hang in there and tell your family how you are that they will be there in your corner for you. You would be suprise how supportive they will be for you. Keep the faith.

So never shot against a six year old huh sniper? Scared are yo LOL...call it literary liscence, a really huge literary liscence. But remember they shot Max's rifles and they have nanites on board enhancing everything...still a really big literary liscence - but it was just too cute a scene not to use

Don't judge others, you haven't lived their life. - Bigman I bow to the Master, that is the major theme of the story. Don't judge what you don't understand. And what some see as taboo, others see as normal, just because it isn't for you, don't look down on it. Besides, who has the right to say what is acceptable and what isn't - live and let live I say. Ok, off the soap box Oh, that and I really hate people who hurt children...my pet peeve and I tend to react worse than Max does.
