Tried that in Firefox, nope, still not clicking through. Even tried their “fix site issues” checkbox, nope. Though I do have chromium working for that, meant a google search to return to the forums (as I still prefer firefox and I couldn’t click from the main site anymore with that blocking banner)

There are many having issues at the moment. We are aware, and there are things that a user has to do in order for everything to work correctly. 1. No matter WHICH browser, you must clear cache and cookies for ALL TIME. 2. After doing the clear, close and restart your browser. You should be able to proceed once you do that. Remember, major software changes generally do require this sort of action. DG

As with any new browser based software, there are some things a user must do to use it. First, and foremost, force clear cache and cookies for ALL TIME. That should fix the problem

Couple questions for you: What browser are you using? Have you cleared cache and cookies? Remember, you must do that as a “for ALL TIME” option, or you will not be able to proceed.

One of the things you have to do is to force clear for ALL TIME with cache and cookies. I have been able to login successfully by doing that.

With the newest updates to the site for some reason the age verification won't disappear... I keep clicking that yes I'm over 18 but it won't let me access the site...is there a way to fix it? Is this still in progress? Otherwise I can't read the fics here

That appears to be a bug with some browsers. The new archive is a work in progress, and they’re working on it as fast as they can.

Ditto… while it works on Chromium, won’t work on Firefox (which is the one I prefer to use here). Was also annoying while trying to find my story statistics (which I do daily/more-often-if-fresh-posted)

I've cleared my cache and cookies, and had the same issue. I finally got to the sign-in page, and cannot sign in, which rather puts a damper on things. I can, however, sign in from the Beta.

Age verification “Yes I am 18+” button does not work

Yeah, I totally get the concern around that. Not in the context of a fanfic but in another writing collaboration, I wrote something for someone and they basically took bits and pieces from what I wrote and used it to say something different that wasn’t my original intention. So there’s definitely reason to be concerned. I can see why being clear on what is and isn’t allowed when it comes to preferences. I’ve seen a few different fics on here from people who seem to be similar to what I write. In fact, I’ve been inspired by some other people’s writing to write my own version of the idea. Maybe if there was some kind of approval process for collaborations where whoever creates the story has approval over what chapters do and don’t get posted.

To Answer. Hellhounds are sapient and on par with souls. Rex is fully aware and capable, he just looks like Malinois. Its part of what makes Hellhounds so dangerous. They can plan and coordinate, he’s just lacking opposable thumbs and vocal chords that can handle speech. If Rex ever decides to take a human visage... Rex IS smarter than Private Daniel. Whose been down there long enough to know the things down their like to play with their food. With everything that implies. There’s a reason why he’s eager to do even suicidal tactics. @JayDee Yes he does in fact have a fiery knot. fyi. A lot of accidents aren’t as nobody suspects the dog in plain sight. The Hellspore is a hell that in transcends and interjects with liminal and interspatial places.

I have some that are one-shots, and some that sort of turned into a sort of series over the years. But even those are able to stand alone. So now I have a little project after the rollout!

One year… might’ve been my first. I did a Halloween story, and decided to continue it with a sequel for the holiday story.

Think that’s what everybody is referring to, the typical halloween/holiday format.

Yep, basically. I remember some of the one shots ended up getting sequels – I think mine re-used characters – but were all generally self contained. Great then, thank you for the ruling

From JayDee on January 18, 2026 I doubt I’ll have time to go back through every holiday I missed, but this recent one got a mention so I figured what the heck, lets see what y’all did! Starting with the first story: Interregnum by InvidiaRed A Fucking Creepy Statue? Jesus, those things get everywhere! I’d be scared if someone tried to turn me into a statue. In fact, I’d be petrified. First thought seeing that was if it was a crossover with InBrightestDay’s multipart epic, but I guess they’re unrelated. Definitely made me look twice tho’ Its a direct parallel. The Falling Angel is met with a Rising Demon. Their hellion story ends where the angel’s begins. Ok, so, a couple of the transitions threw me slightly – suddenly back in the park, then back in the mall, and earlier the way there was suddenly a wall behind in the service corridor – but otherwise I had a pretty solid idea what happened throughout, and why, and I thought there were some pretty goddamn badass moments. Thank you Going toe to toe with Vulravn like that, taking his floor from him – oh, he’s gonna respawn? Well, he can die again. Let him go rule the remains of the shoe store Jenna was correct about not trusting him. Death is a luxury only mortals get. And Jenna slew one of Hell’s Reapers. Losing the certainty of death isn’t something she knows she’s lost… Yet. Didn’t quite get the deal with Mars – was it something similar to the original Doom plot where Hell started pouring through up there, and then you basically find yourself on the shores of Hell? Those were the days… The Afterlife follows mortals wherever they tread so to does psychopomps. Rex best boy! It was a Halloween horror and I was starting to worry something bad might happen to him in a “Dogs aren’t the only ones that can lick” type way, but it was cool! Rex the instrument of vengeance too! I liked how that was foreshadowed too, with how the previous officer had received Jenna’s vengeance for sending the men to their deaths. Yes. Its her line in the sand. ...and her closest ally, Rex? a King... and she's a Queen. Nice. Anyways, I enjoyed this one! Like I say, good dog, badass fighting, nice imagery. Did Vulravn come out of the broken statue or was that thing just… broken? No. But they did manage to wash up down there. The Hellspore touches many places. And they more than earned their stay.

I would bet it’s a browser setting.

I think it should be okay, as it’s a collections of one shots, basically in round robin form, yes?
