If the trimmed url is the issue and you’re using Duck Duck go, try looking at its settings for that first.

I figured it out, I had a mix of problems. DuckDuckGo, the search engine in the URL bar of all my browsers except Brave, kept taking me to this URL: "https://adult-fanfiction.org/" -- All the FireFox browsers display "trimmed URLs", that look like this: "adult-fanfiction.org" My problem was I couldn't see that I didn't have the proper link. I'm disabling the "trimmed URL" feature in each of my browsers for the future. I think the age verification should have a link like, "Having trouble? Click here and try again.", to ensure that all visitors will be in the right place, even if they can't tell. -- Thank you DemonGoddess, your help was appreciated.

Some time after chapter 4 of “RB-X-17” hit 6000 words without being terribly close to finished, I decided to split that chapter into 2. So “RB-X-17” will now have a total of 5 chapters, and chapter 4 is in beta now. In other good news, chapter 6 of “Precocious” is also in beta.

TBH, having the pictures match is likely a good thing for users recognizing the author of their favorite (or least favorite) stories, when browsing the forums.
