    I’m even willing to do the extra step here – but it is absolutely unreasonable to expect people to delete ALL their cache and cookies. They exist for a reason, and it would be a major hussle to be logged out and reset on every single website. Now, I’m not in your shoes, but I’m betting you could fix this issue with ChatGPT or Claude in 1 afternoon. Please accept that you are killing this website with this thing. Look at how many messages with the same content are on here. This is loosing soooo many regular users. People have been looking past soo many bugs for so many years, but this is too much. And I’m not blaming you, you’re not doing this as a fulltime job, but it would be such a shame to give up this project you, and thousands and thousands of people have put in so much love and time. The way to save this is to bring out a message that you‘re gonna fix this, until date x (1 month maximum), and then actually do it. I really love your site and I’m really sad to see this.

    If you’re trying to do this as a registered user, you may have to activate the account first. In any case, these are the steps for setting that cookie. First thing, before you proceed. DO NOT use anonymous browsing for this part. You can go back to it afterwards. I still like to think there’s slightly less horror than on some actual London nightbuses. They say the people who get off the N15 at Romford are well past Barking… Luckily, because it’s a smut fuck the answer is applied metaphyics! I mean uh, blowin’ a load. Thank you again! Just finding a bus to get on feels like more of a struggle sometime tbh. Not the best public transport system in the world. Heh, the main difference is that before Sarsa was crazy, with her mind fractured, where as this is sane and repentent Sarsa. Still writing terrible fanfic though, I suspect. Kizzy has likely become resigned to many events that surround her involving mortals getting sticky and out of breath. What happened to the days when you just smote things she wants to know… I absolutely get where you’re coming from. It could definitely have been a whole thing of tranforming, screwing more, exploring the new form… but I guess I was kind of written out by that point If I’d have pushed it more I might not have finished.     Pro Writing Aid is on such crack. I use actual line-breaks; it doesn’t recognize them as line-breaks and cries about “scenes bleeding into each other” and “mid-scene shifts in POV.” I use extra spaces, ditto, and same with several other ideas. It wasn’t even recognizing transitions, as it tends to. Well, I finally broke down and started writing this...

    ...every time I change to a new scene, just to hammer it in for the programming. This does not make it onto the finished product; I replace it with a proper line-break before posting because my readers aren’t morons. Well, today, PWA has something new to cry about:

    I swear. My writing skills have improved since I started using this app for editing, but my blood pressure has worsened. It wouldn’t be such a pain in the ass if any of the errors I’ve reported had ever been addressed instead of just happening time and time again.

      Desiderius Price, it sounds like you’re suggesting a line-break—a horizontal line that divides two passages of text. I use those in my writing as a rule, but the program plum doesn’t recognize them when it sees them. Using a character’s name as a subheading works for other people, and there’s nothing wrong with it. I pride myself on my ability to indicate the target character without explicitly stating it, though; we’re talking word choices, idiosyncratic behaviors, deep-diving into their chain of thought through the use of third person limited, etc. Even just the way a character structures their sentences can be used to identify them. It’s comparable to method-acting versus skill acting. (Hence why I’m barmy at the least and neurotic at most; I’ve got at minimum a hundred different characters fighting for dominance in my head at all times, and the loudest of them are even more emotionally constipated than I am.)

      That said, my writing instructors hammered into me with a ruler and red pen that if you force-feed your readers, you’re going to choke them and have no readers, so I can be a bit too...careful about it.

      And DemonGoddess, Pro Writing Aid is like Grammarly, only a bit better. They’re spelling and grammar checking programs that leave the built-in options twitching in the dust. I got started with PWA because Grammarly wouldn’t function with Libre Office, and it worked so much better, I just kept using it when I got access to Word again. The free version is effectively neutered now, unfortunately, and the price for the lowest tier makes me wince every time I see the charge.

      TBH, it was more engineering than writing in college for me; so lets start delving into the thermal calculations for your computer with one tool vs the other :)

      Writing’s been more experimental for me, do a bunch of it and see what works or not.  When I tried mixing POVs with first person… that felt like a shipwreck and I couldn’t make sense of it on edit.  Thus, I’ve now done it with that line break (<hr> HTML tag), and try to establish the POV for the reader’s benefit (& mine).  Of course, my readership’s pretty low, so maybe I’m doing it wrong.
