A bird recently shat on my head.  Apparently that’s lucky, although I can’t say it felt lucky at the time.  Still, perhaps the lucky bit was that it was a seagull and not one of the 28lb pelicans we were surrounded by.

Just said my goodbyes to three specialists because they’ve figured out whatever I have is not in their wheelhouses… They’re still not sure exactly what it is, but they’re pretty sure it’s in infectious disease territory now, so yay! Less trips to the big city hopefully! And by next week I should actually be receiving some treatment. Which will be nice. Been going downhill since March, and nobody wanted to treat me before they knew what they were dealing with. 

The wee corgi is home! She’s a little bit stoned on meds, but she’s home, and I’m so glad to have her here!

To my surprise, they fixed the outage much quicker than they predicted.  Sometimes I think they deliberately give a long repair time just so you’re happy with them when it’s fixed quicker than that.

Yum...my internet fix is now being served (never satisfied, one is never truly satisfied on internet, not for long) …. cravings are subsiding.

I love my pets, but I think it's creepy when people start acting like their pets are their children. On my commute this morning, I saw a car with a sticker that read, “My child has four paws.” I found myself wondering, if this person were in a burning building and had to choose between rescuing their dachshund or a neighbor's child, which one would they save?

Medical text books generally state that digestive juices and enzymes from the liver, gallbladder and pancreas empty into the duodenum to aid digestion.  Gallbladder?!  That’s literally nothing more than a reservoir for the bile given to it by the liver! Stop giving the gallbladder credit for something it doesn’t deserve!
