  1. Guilty, but to be fair the darn thing was really itchy and I had no idea it was a scab until it started bleeding. Have you ever snorted pixi sticks? awful little game we used to play in high school. That shit burns.
  2. Can't wait to get out of work so that I can celebrate my bday with a healthy dose of Witchblade and hubby time!

  3. That's pretty awesome! I don't do to much of it any more because I work too much. Talking about it made me nostalgic though.
  4. I cosplayed as Inuyasha before. I went to a few conventions, and hand sewed the whole damn outfit because I was afraid of the sewing machine. The best part of it was getting to make out with a guy who had dressed up as Sesshomaru Just doing our part to keep the yaoi alive!
  5. Guilty, and not? When I am into a game that's how I feel about it, however I tend to sway between obsessions pretty easy. Have you ever stayed awake for more than 30 hours just to see what would happen?
  6. Lol!! I'd love to be mauled by a muse! Thanks for sharing
  7. Looking for a new job. Unfortunately that means my updates might not happen as often, because I am spending a lot of my normal writing time job hunting.

  8. That's a lot of inspiration Cuzosu! I loved that you had Vivi's quote from IX. I miss that game. Here's one of my inspirations: It is a man's own mind not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways. - Buddha I suppose that just shows that I like psychological, internal conflicts.
  9. I understand your frustration, and reaction to the trolling remarks. Reading your original rant made me cry, because I have felt the same way. But feelings are feelings, you do not have to act on feelings because they are temporary. And I just wanted to remind you to look at the source: these are people who you don't know, who could just be doing it because they do get a reaction out of you. You don't know their motivation and you cannot control what other people say, do, think, or feel. What you can control is yourself. You do have the power to get better at whatever you put your mind to, regardless of disabilities. I didn't learn how to read until I was in the fourth grade, and I have consistently scored terribly in spelling throughout all of my educational experience. And I know I can change those things. I know I can work and work until I get better, because I refuse to just allow other people to tell me that I will fail. Its hard work, and it does hurt when people point out my mistakes and shortcomings. I choose to take those and make myself stronger. I hope that you can do that too, because I want to have hope for you. I read this right after getting an incredibly harsh and hurtful review on an original project that I have been working on for about sixteen years. The review came from my best friend, who spurred me into writing in the first place. She means well, and she has zero tact. So while I sit down and read her review I cry, because she doesn't understand that she tolls everything, and then I read the review again. I look for the concrete remarks in it the things that I can take away and work on. Truth is no matter what I say she will still call one of my characters evily mcevil pants (grrr...), and I can still choose to look at that and say 'what about this character makes her think that way?' I'm trying to be motivational to you, and give you the sense that you do have control over this because writing is one of the only things that is completely from you! Good luck, and I really hope you can use these experiences and make yourself stronger.
  10. Review Replies chapter 16 (looks back at posts... I think I missed a chapter...) username-classified: ha... you're funny. And yes... isn't it so interesting that myoga and inukimi are only concerned with Sesshomaru's well being? I wonder why that is? (author looks about innocently) Raven: Thanks for the review, and to clarify some things for you: The roles and motivations of Sesshomaru's parents in the curse are supposed to be murky. Sesshomaru believes that his father wasn't strong enough to fight the curse and was therefore unable to stop himself; perhaps, that is the only way he can come to terms with what happened. Where on the other hand Myoga believes that Touga's actions were protective, and maybe that is just a reflection of how he dealt with it. It is possible that Myoga cannot see any fault in Touga, because he idolizes his former lord. In the end it doesn't really matter what the motivation was, but what the response to the actions were. Second question: yes Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are mates in this story. There doesn't need to be a reciprocal mark for the status to be there. As Sesshomaru explained earlier a reciprocal mark only makes the bond stronger and more effective. And then final question: Is Sesshomaru going to go through a coming of age? Well you'll just have to wait and see. Viperbites: thanks!
  11. Hey guys! I know you can't be everywhere at once, so I am letting you guys know about some stuff I've noticed. The following stories do not have a proper disclaimer. All are missing the component saying that they do not profit from the writing. http://inu.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097010 http://inu.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097005 http://inu.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097009 http://inu.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097008 http://inu.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097007 http://inu.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097006 And then there is this one: http://inu.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600097001 I am not sure, but I think the author is supposed to disclaim all of the songs she uses, because she writes each chapter as if it was a song fic (even though that is not one of the tags listed). Sorry for making more work for you guys. I only noticed it because this is the fandom that I frequent, and they are all on the first page. I would really like to review some of these fics, but I hesitate to do so without proper disclaimers because I don't know if its ok to mention it as a reviewer.
  12. Everything you want- in my pants (vertical horizon)
  13. I think its nice that you would have that compulsion. I agree as a writer that it is good to hear from readers about how the story moves them. Good for you for trying! I try to review stories that I read, and I manage to get to a lot of them. Sometimes I can be a cranky mean girl though, and if I cant think of anything nice to say I don't say anything at all.
  14. guilty! Have you ever broke something really expensive in a store and hid it so no one knew?

  21. I get what you are saying Dg... and I still feel ick about it. In every day language people speak differently about abortions and miscarriages. It is only really medical professionals who use the term 'spontaneous abortion', and generally most of them are smart enough to know not to actually say that when talking to patients. The word 'abortion' is so charged in our language because of religion and politics that for many it really only has one meaning. I don't feel like the author did anything wrong by putting the tag in, because there really wasn't any better one. Stuff like this bothers me still...
  22. So I've run into a story where the author used the tag 'abortion' to code for what is technically a miscarriage in stories. I've looked through the story codes a few times to see if there was a better tag to use, and couldn't find one. Is there a way to add a tag for this? I feel that using the tag 'abortion' to warn readers of unintended pregnancy loss is misleading, especially when the code specifically says that it is to describe "medical termination of a pregnancy". I really don't even know if there is enough need for a tag, because I don't know if there are a lot of stories with this kind of subject in it. but I thought I'd say something because it bothers me.
