@Wilde_Guess You are very right. I am so lucky to still have them both. They’ve both had to bury their parents already, only one of whom passed from old age. And my parents are still relatively healthy so I am selfish and hope they’ll stick around for a while longer.

Honestly, Bronxie, given how the two of them are (despite their “old” age), if they were to find themselves trapped on an air mattress, they’d just take their time getting up from it again, on purpose… And no, one never grows out of getting the ick when the parents start making out in the same room as you…

It’s a sign of both, actually. You look at them and think, “I couldn’t get up from that crap, will I be able to help them get up?” It’s also a sign that all of you are still on the same side of the sod, which is really a nice thing to have.
