I remember throughout most the story the main character is referred to as Precious and the man she ends up with, is referred to as Adonis. The girl is someone who leads a quite life and ends up in a bar one night during her work vacation week, she has no confidence in herself so when Adonis (not his real name.. in fact their names aren't introduced till like.. chapter seven) shows up in the bar she had no intention to get up and talk to him. The story progresses and I simply remember it is an AMAZING story, and would love it if someone could direct me to. I remember that some of the chapters were based on, photography once, they ended up having a scrap book of them (plus another more naughty one.) That Adonis went out and bought an answering machine in case Precious called, and that the whole first few chapters dealt with Precious wanting Adonis to make her feel like she existed. Quote
