Survey: Risk Factors for Problematic Internet Use (must be at least 18 years old and able to read English)

Hi, we are a research team at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. My name is Pia (M.Sc. Psychology) and I’m a university student helping in the research process as an intern, as I am part of the community of readers and writers of fanwork.

We are recruiting from several populations. For example, the general population, users who frequent pornography sites, fanfiction sites, among others. We are conducting a survey to learn more about psychological and situational factors that may encourage or discourage unconventional behaviour online and in the "real world".

We are looking for participants who are at least 18 years old and able to read English. You have a 1 in 50 chance of winning an Amazon voucher worth $25 US! You will be asked to answer a series of questions about yourself, your childhood and your current situation. Several questions concern sexual attitudes and behaviours that are considered unconventional or problematic in our society. Answering the questions only takes about 15-20 minutes and is completely anonymous.
