PseudoHanyou Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 I think it is long past due that someone requests that a "Death Note" category be added to the Anime section of this site. The amount of adult fanfiction which is written for this anime/manga is substantial and it would be a shame for this site to ignore that and choose to not include this category. One of the biggest problems I'm seeing is that writers are posting all of their Death Note fics to Fanfiction.net, complete with adult content, and risk being reported/banned due to this. I think that if this site offered the category, people would be more encouraged to post these things here, in the same manner as they do other fics. For example, a writer will post a "safe" version of the story on fanfiction.net and provide a link or something explaining that the mature material can be found elsewhere. Elsewhere should be here. While I am aware that other sites such as Mediaminer offer a Death Note category, upon seeing the overwhelming popularity of this fandom, it eludes me as to why it is not included on this site.
