Eventually the Chunnin Exams happen and oddly enough Ino is very familiar with Kabuto in which she informs him just how much she loves her sister. This is of course both a code phrase and real. Mainly this is to bring about an agreement Ino made with Orochimaru (through Kabuto) to make it so that the situation in Konoha is untenable and Naruko becomes so scared for her future wife’s life, which there are actual dangers. This is to justify Ino convincing Naruko that they need to leave Konoha and to go somewhere else, coincidently Otogakure, where they can love each other and have that wedding that Naruko has dreamt of.

After getting to Oto the wedding does happen and gets pregnant during their honeymoon starts giving Ino a very large family.
