In this fic the avengers end up visiting Asgard after the New York battle but Loki isn't a prisoner, at one point he offers to take them on in Asgard special training grounds to prove that he was more than capable of defeating them but he hadn't wanted to, the training ground is kind of like the X-Men danger room, programmable tech. I can't remember if there were any pairings but if was definitely over 10.000 words. Quote
