As I looked through the COMICS Subcategories, I noted a couple of stories that seemed out of place. Thanks for cleaning up the archives, I hope this helps...

http://comics.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600060088

Description: Supergirl

Correct Cat: Supergirl

NOTE: The Comics:Supergirl subcategory does not exist, please create. Supergirl is in the Superman family, but has her own DC Comics title. I'll be writing for it. Thanks.

Description: TMNT/Buffy crossover

Filed Under: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Correct Cat: AU - Alternate Universe

Description: Logan & Remy

Correct Cat: X-Men

http://comics.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=544202061

Description: Freddy Freeman

Correct Cat: Captain Marvel

NOTE: The Comics:CaptainMarvel subcategory does not exist, please create. The Comics:MarvelFamily subcategory is confusing and nondescript (with both DC's Capt. Marvel and Marvel Comics Group), please consider removing (having moved the stories, it will be empty).

Also in COMICS, I don't know if there are stories coming, but for the moment, the subcategories Garfield and Power are empty.

Re: Marvel -

I don't know of many comics fans who would use 'Marvel Family' in most contexts to refer to Marvel Comics' various Captain Marvels (Mar-Vell, Monica Rambeau et al) or Marvel Comics itself, but if there is room for confusion then the category for DC would surely be some variation on 'Shazam!' rather than 'Captain Marvel'- as this has featured in the titles of most of DC's Marvel Family comics, for Billy, Mary, Freddy and the rest. Only Marvel Comics has the right to market a comic with the title 'Captain Marvel' See here for why.

As a kind of extra test of public opinion, Wikipedia deals with 'Marvel Family' as the DC comics/original Fawcett Comics versions of all the characters with no mention of Marvel Comics - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Family - and if there was room for confusion then the nerds who edit the damn thing would surely have set it as a disambiguation page by now.
